They look great Max. The rise does take some getting used to, but the fit through the leg is spot on.

i have the 14oz OD 777's which I can't wear for work doe to fear of visible arse crack :P

They really do look good. Don't look like you have to sew them  on, I looked at the measurements & thought "never happen!" Might take a shot at the 555's since the rise will spare the public from "visible arse crack."

IH makes some tops that age really well and their hoodies are something else.

The green one has faded nicely but I like how my black one hasnt really at all. IHs black stays that way.

I've had IH hoodies from 7 or 8 years ago up the the 23. The 23 is the heaviest hoodie I've ever seen from IH, though I also have the same green zip one as posted above and that does feel significantly lighter.

Added two red flannels while visiting Gosport. Great times we had!

Independantly of the IH products, Giles & co. have built a really benevolent, friendly community. It's pretty unique.

Awesome Flo that you visited Gosport and met Paula and Giles. I can't wait to stop by there as well soon!

And congrats The Northern for your awesome raw denim love given to your 6 years plus IH jeans

it helps getting rid of starch and other processing residues.

also, there is the understanding that the soaking/washing helps settle and embed the threads and seams before wearing.
