Leepro Appreciation

IIRC (read it a few hours ago), the Warehouse 101B's were worn for a year and washed whenever he felt like it....The pair on the right is an actual vintage model versus his pair on the left...Similar fading attributed to the dyeing method (sulfuration dye) and of course the LHT...Quite beautiful in my opinion...

Really great pics and info in this thread, good stuff. Ive been contemplating buying a pair of 101z 1952's from here : http://item.rakuten.co.jp/furutaka/05101-89/

Just wanting to understand properly, so the general consensus about sizing is to size down at least 1 because of the large waist? Im not really after a tight fit but I want the waist at least snug.

These are the only Leepro's I have but Im really happy with the fit. Evis 2101's that I picked up off a member here.

Not quite sure where these belong. It's not like I could supersearch "lee 24k gold" and come up with something either.

Here's the Manila version of the Lee 24K Gold Campaign (not even sure if its an international one). A hundred pairs of these were made, mens and womens, and given to select members of the industry and press. Other than the selvage Kaihara denim, the clincher is all the hardware is made of (more likely coated) in 24k gold.

How I got a perfectly sized down pair, 29 (my true waist is 32), is beyond me. I attribute it largely to the girlfriend. It says it's a 1936 cut repro, but a fellow denim enthusiast here says they aren't entirely made true to the silhouette. The leg opening is a little similar to my SEXSC06, but what has me sold is the extremely snug top block.

Looking back at the photos in the thread, I'm very excited on how these will turn out. Evo pictures when I get more significant sort of wear, but as of now, here's a fit picture. Day Juan.

Shame that. they took off the Lee westerner stuff too (was hoping they would re-stock the cream westerner shirt in a size XL) :(

Maybe they went back to the distributor? I was also ready to swoop if they put the stuff on sale again.

Aero Leather sells the Lee Original stuff for very reasonable prices.

If there's a chance of future shrinkage, then I'd always soak...better to avoid any nasty surprises further on down the line...

You were very lucky on Sunday, btw ;)

When you hire the Fulham manager, you're going to play like Fulham. We have a world class goalkeeper who made up for the Arsenal mistake. Other than that we never came close to getting or deserving any points. Although I will point out that Benitez never managed a team that beat a Bruce managed Birmingham in the league and that looks like continuing. I've been to Birmingham away (we drew 2:2) and their fans are fantastic - real atmosphere and support to the hilt. And yes, to cut long excuse short we were VERY lucky!!

Repped, it would be rude not to!

Slightly back on-topic, wore my 52s today for the first time in a loooong time today...still love the jeans, still not loving the arse on them...
