  3. Definitely. Bit fragile these days but will try bust them out every now and then. I know No.1's get a lot of love but cant fault No.2's either.
  4. Evisu Lot 2000 No.2 about 4 years of wear

I'm a 30 and always go for 32 in No.1 and 30 in No.2. Chan I remember you bought a pair of 2101s off me a few years back but think you passed them on to someone else.

CTB it was a toss up between Shanghai and Tokyo. My wife is from Shanghai and it was going to be a 'meet the parents' trip but cant remember if I threw up Tokyo or she did but happy either way. Next year may have to nut up and go meet the new family. Also I remember that photo of when you were a teenager doing that sort of karate stance in China. That would have been interesting times for you. Its good to experience different cultures.

Yeah the brown boxes and Lazy S's grew on me after their run had finished so it became harder and harder to find a pair. But thankfully I have both stored away, not sure when i'll break them in but definitely plan to. Paulo arent you from the UK? You're now living/working in Shibuya? I was staying at the bottom of Ginza in Shinbashi. Spent a day or 2 in Shibuya, was pretty cool. Also as far as slim cuts I tried on the 2000T (tapered), not sure when that model was released but its pretty slim. Didnt try on the 2005's so couldnt compare. For me I dont want my Evisu's slim so I just stayed with the 2000's.

Cheers Edward, im breaking in a pair of No.1's with black gulls at the moment (Bought a few pairs when Evisu had the 30% off for I think the earthquake relief a few years ago). CTB I remember those mizuhiki of your's. I always wanted another pair (pretty sure I bought my Evis Lot.00 Yamane Deluxe mizuhiki's off you?) Also didnt I buy a pair of size 29 Brown boxes off you? lol I swear 3 or 4 of my jeans are from you. Just got back to Australia from a trip to Japan. Spent most of the time in Tokyo and took the bullet train to Osaka for a 5 day stay. Dropped in to a few denim places, didnt go too crazy. Bought a couple of Evisu jeans and a pair of Momotaro '66 cut and just some sweaters and things. Did the touristy stuff like Tokyo Disney and Universal Studios in Osaka, wife went crazy on cosmetic's. Everyone was super friendly and polite, very clean. Food was great and the alcohol was a lot cheaper than Australia. Most denim heads would love it, couldnt recommend it enough.
  9. Studio D'artisan

    cheers bud
  10. UES Denim

Bought a couple of these thermals In Shibuya. These are size 3, I'm usually S-M. Great quality and super warm.

Hopefully the image isn't too big.. bought this 9776ID-U size S a couple of days ago in Tokyo. I'm usually S-M so found they are true to size and the quality is amazing.

In a little hotel in Tokyo at the moment, bought a couple of things yesterday. Heading off to Osaka on a bullet train in a few days. Very impressed with Japan I have to say.

howl Id call southern cross the bottom end of the main streets (Burke St and Collins St). Its more the business side, the big shopping sections start from Elizabeth St heading up towards the top end (Parliament house). The top end of Collins is the boutique's, Bourke in the mid section has the shopping mall, Little Bourke is Chinatown. Around the Southern Cross station there is the DFO (Direct Factory Outlets) and theres another factory outlet right next to it (forget the name, maybe 'south wharf') Nike/adidas/etc.. thats where all the cheap stuff is. It will be last seasons models at discount. Id recommend Pellegrini's for eating. Couple of old Italian ladies in the back making homemade pasta. For me the lasagna is the best ive ever had. Might be like $16 but worth it. Its close to the top of Bourke St next to an alley way (Crossley St). Lonsdale and Latrobe St's are the student area's, uni's and whatnot. King St is where the strip bars are, close to the Melb aquarium. Theres Crown Casino if you dont mind a punt, Flinders St station is the main station in Melbourne. You can walk along the Yarra river and find cafe's, walk up to the Eureka skydeck and have a look at the city.
  14. Japan Trip

Amazing write up, a lot of good info in there. Im going to Tokyo for a couple of weeks with my wife in about 2 months. Will write down a few denim shop addresses I want to visit and try map out the best way to see them all. Got the sufu Tokyo guide, will carry that around.
