Those were my exact thoughts, that the trousers don't quite drape right at the bottom and that the bottom button needs to be undone.

^Everything is telling me to hate that outfit, but it works.

Trick with formal trousers when they sit a bit long isn't to hem them outright but to get the fronts slanted upwards. Just helps them sit better without making you look like an old man.
