Beautiful Freak, I guess your right being new and all I thought ppl wouldn't take it serious. Well....... & I am lazy too. You do have a point about ppl shelling out the cash for a "unknown brand". Especially when there are other comp. going on.

Demonito, could you please tell me if sizing-wise they go pretty much true to size and if they shrink to or from tagged?

By now your bikie friend must have had his soak and a few wears to judge, and your opinion as a buyer and friend of an owner is precious

thanks in advance

Just came across this brand

Neutral Jeans Co

They have the 4 classical Japanese repro-cuts:

'40s, WWII, '50s and '66 all with 14oz redline selvage denim.

They also offer modern jeans.

The issue with a lot of these super heavy weight jeans is either they're nearly unwearable and due to how rigid they are don't actually last that long OR the denim just looks terrible outside of the fact that it's so heavy in weight.

I still prefer denim to be anywhere from 13-15oz, no heavier...

the 12oz MF californian denim is real nice too even though it is slightly less heavy...

Looks great, but they also look like what we in six months to a year from now will refer to as the "pre-lawsuit models", if they decide to have any activity across the border. :-)

maybe the Neutral Jeans ship overseas? It's certainly worth a try to contact them directly.

Read contradictory information about the denim. Some say "shrink-proof" and some don't. But I think it's sanforized.

The arcs are very Flat Head-like :D

Toughness look nice and clean. Are you going for 'em, LFV4ever?

Those vintage models from Neutral Jeans looks interesting. Great find, BF. I think the denim is unsanforized though. This is what's posted on the website:

14oz 未防縮加工 ムラ糸弱テンションセルヴィッチデニム.

Maybe some one can translate. I think it says 14oz non shrinking processed denim which I take it as unsanforized. Maybe I am wrong.

Cameroon cotton used for the WWII model. The website describe it as long staple cotton, sounds similiar to Zim cotton.

I've contacted Neutral but no reply yet. I think the measurements are post soak, but I was only interested in the 1950's cut. I wasn't going for the Toughness as they look good but I have way too much stuff already.......hence my constant appearance on ebay.....
