If you check the feedback of the Yahoo! seller above^.. it's appalling by honorable Japanese standards.

Numerous 'very bad seller' reviews in regards to Muramasa jeans and lots of those Mickey x Rolexes which are 'coincidentally' sold at the Rakuten store.. also accusations of low listing prices / high buyouts and phoney bidding.

It all seems dodge.. of the numerous different brands mentioned, most of them lead back to the same guy who seems to be generating hype with low listing prices and shill bidding... if one of his brands gets a bad rep, he'll just slap a different patch on there.

Ashoes&Son from Saitama

 

Founded in 1995, apparently for 20 years mostly a fashion shop, then after acquiring the necessary skills and machines offering repairs and making denim items.
I saw a few items in this shop like a type 1, WWII type 1, WWII jeans and these '47 type ones.

Their web address is stated as ahoes.co.jp , but I couldn't get it io work.

And they also offer all kinds of repairs and hemming services.

Completing the collection, decided to go with a wide model from Phigvel, the 301.  I have the black model and now have the indigo denim model coming in.  I like wide model pants based on my build.

These arrived for me yesterday. They’re the s0001xx model from Rockets - WW2 with denim pocket bags. I like the look and feel so far and am hoping to wash and hang dry (need to minimize inseam shrinkage) before my in-laws come for Christmas. Here are the pre-wash measurements, some photos (not my greatest work), and some pre-wash fit pics. The darker blue colors are most accurate it’s really grey and snowy here and I didn’t have time to bring out my real camera setup.  I will update fit and measurements once washed
 

waist (laid flat and not aligned): 16.75”/42.5 cm

front rise: 12.25”/31 cm

thigh (at crotch seam): 13”/33 cm

leg opening: 9.2”/23 cm

inseam: 35”/89 cm

@yung_flynn nice pick up, I’m curious what the inside of the pocket bags look like? In the photos they’ve always looked more like chambray than denim, I couldn’t figure out if it was the warp or weft visible. I’ve been thinking about selling my HBT pocket bag pair to grab these in a size up.

They look and feel more like chambray. They definitely don’t look like the denim pocket bags that Simone shared for WoM. I’m guessing that the Rockets site just had a mistranslation. The HBT pocket bags were out of stock in my size but I’m not complaining either. 

The 37 model from Rockets also looks nice and uses the same denim. I think that there is something different about their sewing or construction based on how they’re marketed (part of their higher price) but I couldn’t figure it out so I couldn’t really justify the $80-90 price difference. The rise is noticeably higher on those though (12.8” for 32 waist after washing I think) and the thigh and leg opening are about a half inch wider
