Leather is nice and thick (around 15oz), the grain is distressed a little (like the SDA brushed grain ones) with unfinished edges and a mad heavy buckle!

stax, are you a girl that wheres animal print dresses? if not, then no.

Just playin. Its defiantly interesting but I have a feeling thats more fashion over form. when I need something to hold my drawers up, I need something to hold my drawers up. If It doesn't work great then theres no point for me. And that looks like it wouldn't hold all that tight. Especially once that little piece of leather (the verticle cut one) gets stretched a tiny bit.

I think it's quite beautiful, actually. I really like the aesthetic. But like MikeS said, it's hard to imagine a practical way it could keep up a pair of pants. I think it's a great piece for a woman to wear, just as the picture shows.

look up "web belt" on amazon, very inexpensive

^^ Just get one custom made - if you don't have a local metalsmith, try Etsy.

Depending on the materials you want and the processing (lost wax, custom casts, etc), shouldn't cost more than $60 to $80 to get a decent, basic buckle made.
