I don't have a decent place to leave it outside for a while, and smell is strong enough that drawe with dryer sheets isn't going to work.

Best thing to do would be to just give a good wash.

Turn the jacket inside out, wash on the gentle cycle in warm water with a decent amount of woolite dark, then let it air dry..
