That’s an extremely powerful pre-soak fit bartles …. though the post soak is excellent too. Really all of these fits are great, you’re all getting things off to a tough start for the judges…

Went for coffee. Came home with an Airforce Duffle bag  for £35!
Looks issued but unused. Mint condition. Fairly modern I assume.
Has a very faint Airforce stamp on it. Great red contrast stitching, for no reason is my guess.
I assume its for flight kit like helmet and overalls?

^ not as far along as you but definitely feeling like they'll be fast fasters, especially compared to the Ooe's I was just used to! Maybe reaching 18 months in a good state will require some well chosen breaks along the way.

Thank you @beautiful_FrEaK! I do really like them!

The fit is pretty comfortable. I could always go for more space in the top and a higher rise. But that is always the case. Give me a 13" rise and I'll still need more.

I think these will really come into their own by spring/early summer, the fade on them will be getting really significant and they're a good weight for slightly warmer weather. Exciting.

when I wore them first day after initial wash they were really snug in waist. After 16 days of wearing them, I can take them off without unbuttoning them easily. So belt is essential now...

@vIGGiou riou Something I never see mentioned around here but which I find extremely handy is a pants stretcher. I got one off Amazon maybe five years ago after being previously unaware such a thing existed.

Oftentimes the waist on a pair is a little tight relative to the rest for me to get my desired fit - or, as seems to be more often the case, the waist measurement turns out smaller than advertised. So while the jeans are wet from a wash, or after soaking the waistband under the faucet for a one-wash pair, I put in the stretcher, set it to the proper measurement, let the pants dry, and the waist fits just right.

It might get there eventually regardless, but I don't really want to endure 2-3 weeks of an uncomfortable fit every time I wash my jeans, so I've found this to be a nice workaround.

I sized mine not much expecting to use the cinch, and now they’re cinched all the way. Ha. At least til the next wash.

As someone who considers leg shrinkage a bummer, I've often considered trying to recreate a device like this.
There's a pic of a more elaborate version in one of the vintage denim books but I couldn't find it online.

April 25, 1888. I have great pleasure in stating my experience of your Trousers Stretcher. It is un-doubtedly the best in the mar-ket, and my experience extends
over five years. ARTHUR B. DUNNE.

They do seem to like it. Maybe we would too?

Ciao... a few pics from the week... been doing a bit of walking in them... settling down very nicely... I can feel the Italian influence in the jeans, as you'll detect from my greeting

Got this Mystery Ranch backpack recently which I really like - I'm no expert but it's comfy with loads of little handy pockets for stuff and seems pretty robust

Went into the city with my lad, picked up a Panasonic TZ99 which I had on order... into House of Fu for a nice California bowl of Japanese inspired goodness...

... then went to see my mate Mavis who didn't have a scoobies about the Sufu #WoMCon... wtf... it'll go viral at some point folks... it's just a matter of time

Is your mystery ranch pack made in USA? I took a look at their line a little while ago and got the impression they were not the same business they were ~15 years ago when I was in the market for expedition packs. I really don't know though.
