Nevertheless I prefer a bit more subtle contrasts with a more natural progression. Here again my favourite pair from the little 501 book (37's, and yeah, those stacks are more than subtle):

Anytime I get the chance I look through old family albums. I almost always see my uncles in Levi's cut-offs swimming,fishing, et cetera. To some the notion of reproducing a cut-off might be heresy, but I was curious if LVC has ever made a finished version of cut-offs available? They've done so much other stuff, blankets, jackets,t-shirts, skirts. Just thought someone might know.

Just picked this up at the Union Square store yesterday. Limited run in a very nice Italian tweed, single needle stitching in most places. In my current obsession color of ODG, it fits me really well too.

70's Levis on ebay Germany for just 35 Euros. I don't know if it is actually 70s or not. Made in France, like the other ones that were discussed earlier.

They're not 70s. As mentioned before, Levi's didn't open any European factory until after 1981.

Can any authorities speak as to when these are from ? I assume late 60's because of the zipper... the blue/gold tag is throwing me off though. I am assuming these are probably from a budget line right, hence the seller not showing/mentioning selvage.

the black tag you posted last page? i understand they are the canadian version of the orange tag, so no selvedge. not sure exactly how that dates them, but OTs only existed from the late 60s afaik.

Don't know if this is the right thread to post this but I picked up a pair of Levis x Al's Attire North of Cordovan boots from the Levis Malibu shop.
