that white jacket is probably a really really faded blue jean or hickory stripe. It's got a pretty good hole going on it so I'd say it's super faded.

Looks almost like a short railroad jacket but with a collar...

I like how that website shows the jeans from a folded over side angle. You can really see where the differences in seat and leg shape are at.

BGB - I would bet it's a severely faded duck jacket similar to the one you found. I don't recall having seen any short waisted white jackets of that era in any catalogs. Doesn't mean it couldn't exist, just not very likely.

I know LVC did a blue/gold horizontal stripe blazer around that same time...I don't remember the version in the auction though...that doesn't mean it isn't legit.

Possible...I've seen uniform jackets in white, but without collars. I suppose for kitchen help?
