A celegration of FW’s pearl buttons, the best in the ‘verse. First are 2 versions of the diamond cracker. The first one is the older version of the 8oz denim one (the new version doesn't have pearl buttons), and the second one is a cool cotton / linen indigo oxford. Can't recall the names for #3-5 right now.

hey Lorcan, what size do you wear for the 46-47 506xx and how much further shrinkage have you experienced during the time you've worn and washed them?

hey, I wear a 42, I think I could wear a 40 for a very trim t-shirt only fit, although I suspect buttoning the collar on a 40 might be tight. I can fit a sweatshirt under the 42.

I have FW outerwear in a mix of 40 and 42- I also have a 1922 506xx in a 40 which is a great fit (although I’ve also never machine washed it). Wear 17 in FW shirts (although I like a roomy fit in shirts) and a sweatshirt in a 40 for a trimmer fit so yeah bit of a mix even though I’d say FW is actually fairly consistent sizing compared to some brands.

First photo is after 2 warm soaks and still probably larger than the listed one-wash measurements. 2nd photo is after 2 machine washes, plus another couple hand washes/soaks. Fit has been pretty stable after machine washing, lengths have continued shortening a bit, maybe some marginal overall tightening up but nothing too unpredictable.

To add - I wear both 38 and 40 in Freewheelers jackets - mostly 40, my 38 is a t shirt only fit. And 38 in a sweatshirt for a trimmer fit. I find one wash freewheelers to be the most comprehensive one wash out there - as in, it shrinks very marginally and I take the one wash measurements to heart. I don't try to factor in shrinkage beyond the one wash measurements with my sizing - hasn't steered me wrong.

Yeah taking a measuring tape to it now and mine's pretty close to the one wash measurements everywhere except the sleeves which have shortened to around 60cm.

In practice the back length kinda sits up shorter when not pulled flat, but that's shaping/bunching around the cinch buckle with wear rather than shrinkage - might make a difference in the how the worn photo looks vs when new though.

Enjoying you trash out that war denim jacket @shredwin_206  - gives me fantasy thoughts about how well faded l could get mine if l put it through its paces. My warehouse 506 needs more wear but l can not think about wearing a denim jacket anytime soon so living vicariously through you atm. Keep up the fantastic work!

Helmet laws tee misses the mark big time…might have to find myself one of those Peace Valley shirts though

Yeah it's definitely a statement, I like the graphic and colors though. But I'm a poser anyways, I don't even ride.
The Peace Valley shirts are very nice, the front pockets have a double enclosure. Thought about getting the standard chambray version as well.
This olive version of the Blystone came up quite small, or it's just a sign I need to drop a few pounds.

Thanks @indigoeagle, trying to branch out a bit from wearing jeans all the time and the Grunts trousers caught my eye. Nice cut, very wide leg with a nipped waist.
But I wish they made the trousers out of the fabric that they used on the shorts, would've been great for summer. The herringbone fabric is pretty heavy but breathable.
The Great Lakes sweatshirt is a Hoosier exclusive, it's printed on an Ultima Thule sweatshirt (first sweat I have from that sub-line).
And the Peace Valley is called navy by Freewheelers, but it definitely appears to be indigo dyed. 🤷‍♂️

With you there! Saw my first motorcycle crash when I was 10 or 11. Still remember the body on the pavement. No helmet, either. I can see an argument for cyclists in urban area with great cycinling infrastructure though. Anyways, not FW first swing and huge miss with a T though. Fits the Motor Psyclone brand at least, I guess.

I’m partial to all things Great Lakes though, might have to look into that sweatshirt if it’s not gone already. Not being on IG since the beginning of the year I miss out on almost everything!
