I prefer google stuff too, but I was on flickr before Yahoo bought it and it's still the best so I deal with Yahoo.

I like your pics the_state. I've been doing a lot of the same experimentation but haven't been brave enough to post them here yet. What's the max aperture on the lens you're using? I notice the colors are very vibrant on a few, did you happen to do any post processing to increase saturation?

i'm using the d40 kit lens. max aperture is 3.5 but that's only when zoomed out. the lowest i used here was either 4 or 4.5

i did a drop of processing in iphoto on the candy corn and barber shop shots, nothing dramatic though. the rest are straight from the camera.

Canon Eos Rebel X + 50mm 1.8 w/ ISO400 kodak film thats probably about four years expired.

What film did you use for the shots in your last post rockon99?

yeah kodak does make a portra. but i used fuji pro 160S and some editing on the computerr..

- id like to try the portra films though
