I want to start shooting more film.

Using a 35mm Camera has made me realize that 50mm is a much more useful focal length when its not on a crop body.

Thanks for the comment dino. It's the beach near Santa Monica Pier. A Lutheran group was putting up crosses representing soldiers and civilians who died in Iraq.

the sky doesn't bother me too much in the photo...what i'd like to see gone are the people in the background, but i guess they're part of the narrative

First time posting in here, hopefully the response isn't too brutal

Shot with with fairly ghetto lighting, being 2 shitty spotlights and a smokemachine from a dj hire place, in my loungeroom/kitchen.

well, i've already removed a couple of garbage cans and two people. i didn't have the patience or energy to do any more than that last night. i'll get around to it just for the practice and to see how it looks. you're right though, the people are part of the story (except they were probably there to see the sunset and not the crosses).
