Hoggy,

I exchanged them for a 31, which fit much better (and closer to my 101s) but they're still on the waiting list, so raw and unworn, therefore can't comment yet.

My current (winter rotation) is Flat Head F350 and SDA 101. Next up will be my Warehouse Warrens, then the SDA 001. I feel quite embarrassed exposing my hoarding tendencies...

Anyone have experience with the d1546 21oz denim? Got a pair from the big sale and was wondering if anyone had shrink and stretch info. Also if people have fit and evo pics, that would be great. Thinking about wearing these for the hwdc2

Just as a bump to this..

Been thinking increasingly about trying a heavyweight denim and keep coming back to the SDA 21oz models. The D1585 ought to do it, based off the SD-101 cut.

Obviously not model specific, but thoughts on the denim?

For ref..

Comparing these to my SEXDBXSXS12 that I had, they didn't feel super heavy when I pick them up. In fact when i first picked up the box from my doorstep I thought to myself "did Big send me the right jeans? Because this box feels pretty light.." Also they didnt feel as thick as my DB.

Color and texture wise, again comparing to my DB, they are not as dark as the DB but the denim is smooth and slightly hairy.

*Edit - Woah, didnt know sufu took on capital letters. Was looking over my post and noticed how retarded looking it was because some sentences began with capitals and some didn't. Anyway...fixed.

Yea, I pretty much went TTS. My true waist is 31 but these jeans don't come in odd tagged sizes, only even (28, 30,32). So I picked a tagged 30 and those have a 32 raw waist, which I think will be perfect after a soak.

Also I don't know if it just me, but I think the back pockets on my D1546 are massive! Are SDA back pockets usually really big?

  • 2 weeks later...

Picked up a pair on eBay (us) the other day...

Studio D'Artisan X's-31 ("Black Pig") in W32.

These were released as Xmas special 2 years ago.

21oz denim, weft dyed black, straight cut.

Been worn by the previous owner for about +6 months, bought at BiG, washed at least twice, maybe a few additional soaks...

They need a repair job on both pocket bags and one of the thighs has been stitched/repaired (Darning?) professionally.

Let's see how soon I can get this done - maybe I can rock them some further there seems to be too much life left to retire them...
