Just picked up these Mister Freedom Midnight Riders by Sugarcane. 10 oz. Denim, Indigo warp, black weft These are a little long so the ankle pockets are mostly hideen by cuffs but I've been after these for so long I don't care. I first saw these worn by (former?) SF Member Cotton Duck and in love but rarity and economics would prevent me from picking up a pair. (Image below) Until last week. Saw these for pretty cheap online in a size I could make work...so inpulled the trigger. Still getting used to the wider leg openings but the construction and denim are fantastic.4 points

Happy Independence / Freedumb Day Superfuture! What better way to celebrate than some new old Mister Freedom? Ever since I saw Cotton Duck sporting a pair on here many many years ago (image below) I have wanted a pair but rarity and economics kept that from happening. (sf member cotton duck wearing mister freedom) Until these showed up in the mail yesterday. Old Denim cap Striped tank Old vest Painted belt MF x SC Midnight Riders Trusty boots3 points

I've just seen that Son of a Stag in London are re-releasing the H.D. Lee archives collection, exclusive to them if l've read it right. No link because l've forgotten how to do it but they had the full set of raw and pre-distressed denims (3 101 cowboy pants, 131 cowboy pants, 3 different lee 91J loco jackets, lee cowboy jacket and lee dungarees in raw denim and in raw ecru! Also the earliest type of 191-J and a 50's lee riders jean. I'm sure somebody with better tech skills than me can post the link up here2 points

My favorite shirt is this 1990s Agnes b. planete shirt, however I believe it might be time to retire it. Thankfully they are still in production and made in France so I've ordered a new one. If someone knows a good way to mend the collar please lmk! https://www.agnesb.eu/en/men/the-forever/light-blue-cotton-twill-plan-te-shirt2 points

Same jeans aside from the inseam length and the details you noted. The Self Edge version of the 800 was special ordered and had a longer inseam, roughly 34” post-wash. The 800 currently for sale on the Warehouse website has a raw inseam measurement of 33.8”. That will shrink to around 31” after washing/soaking.1 point

SUFUers I have a dumb question: is this pair of Warehouse 800xx the same pair that Self Edge was selling with the only difference being the red tab and that its non wash? https://www.ware-house.co.jp/?pid=132358497 Asking because I want another pair but can’t seem to find anywhere else that has one in stock.1 point

@Duke Mantee oh this is too cool! The leather is so nice and supple, and the perfect tone.1 point

The removal of belt loops is a downgrade imo. Don't see why all the silhouettes that used to feature both (including P15) have dropped them to become integrated waist band only1 point

601XX-C 1937 pre-wash, ~7 months of wear and 2 washes. Currently drying after the wash, so I'll get some photos up tomorrow once they're dry.1 point

Just came back from a few week-long motorcycle trip down the pacific coast to big sur. I’m waiting to develop some pics but will have them up later. In the meantime, here’s the carnage on my jacket: The left sleeve tore open suddenly somewhere on the Oregon coast - that’s my next project. On the first week down, the small coin pocket in front lost all its stitching and was held on by just the button; then the right pocket stitching deteriorated and the stress sadly tore the leather slightly at the pocket opening, which I’m gonna have to figure out how to fix (can you bar-tack leather?); then the left shoulder seam split about three inches across and got re-sewn on the road in central california. Those are the perils of riding a motorcycle in an 80-year-old jacket, I guess. I was using some old cotton thread we packed to do the stitching on the road but feel like something more durable is in order now that we’re home again. Any leather workers have any suggestions on a good (black) thread to use?1 point

Quite by accident, on the rogues.co.jp website, I found a pre-order for a 1947 Wrangler replica. On the original website of Warehouse & Co there is nothing about this set yet. Even rogues don't have a size chart. If anyone is interested, pay attention. https://www.rogues.co.jp/shopdetail/000000010294/ct1836/page1/order/ https://www.rogues.co.jp/shopdetail/000000010290/ct1836/page1/order/1 point
