Some quick snaps of my Warehouse 1922 501XX jeans (1914 'belt loop model) and the 1927 506XX blouse after a wash. The jeans have had their second wash after about a year or so of actual wear. The blouse/jacket has had its first wash only after about 6 months of actual wear. Click on the image twice for clarity. Not sure why the images turned out such a lighter blue, just taken them outside under cloud. Will ask the Mrs to take a fit pic when she's down later in the week so may bring out the depth of the denim more(?) These were my first Warehouse items, really loving this unique denim and its characteristics but it does seem to fade faster than any denim l've previously owned. [edit] Don't understand why the first 2 images are on their side as l haven't changed anything about them. They are all standard photos taken one after the other. Fkin sufu😠13 points

Thanks for that @MJF9 ! ^Actually just realised that the 20's tux isn't my first experience of WH denim. I first had the 1922 model (details more like 1927 tho) in Duck Digger denim. Wore them on and off for a while, took all the waistband hardware off recently and tried to give them another go but that lower back rise isn't doing it for me no matter what. So l have ditched them (and also shelved both pairs of Lee's but that's another story) which leaves the door wide open for me to use this wonderful 2 piece overall as my yard/garden/outdoor work garment. So hopefully an improving picture fade wise 😊3 points

Definitely dry clean. Rayon does not do well being put through the washing machine or dryer…. The fabric will be compromised and the shape of the shirt will change. I made the mistake of putting one of my gf’s (soon to be wife) shirts in the wash; it didn’t turn out well and a replacement was bought. Wasn’t a Sugarcane shirt, but pretty sure the wash wouldn’t have cared and taken more care if it had been.2 points

I’ll second that - though only because mine aren’t worth posting at this point - hasn’t even gotten it’s first wash. It’s unfortunately taken a back seat to my OA jacket at the moment!1 point

Gave the WWII jeans another wash over the weekend, starting to get some decent contrast. I really like the grey hue that this denim has, and it feels like it's not washing out as quickly as some other OA denims have in the past. This is probably my favorite cut that they've made so far, so if there's ever another run of 03s I'm in.1 point

Sizing has been my biggest blunder. That abd buying too much too soon. Now I have a bunch of brand new pairs about a size or two too big I have to now sell. I measured wrong and went up a size when I shouldn't have1 point

that's very nice of you. I'm still lurking about once a day. My life is a mess at the moment with way too much work and stress. I'm so fat that none of my old tcb jeans fit and the idea of surrender and realize I need a 38 makes me sad. I'm going to leave my job at the end of the year, move on something else more simple and get my life back. I thought I could resist with this job until I was 50, make some more good money and call it a day then. But I'm 43 now and I've been dead close to burnout for the last couple years. I may as well decide to join for the fun, as long as I like the cut. I have no time at the moment to work out details with Hajime and Ryo. Let's hope they cook up something that most will like, a Levi's based 5P model with a regular to loose fit. A copy of a specific Levi's pair they haven't covered yet from either 40s or 50s would be probably the most attractive project to stir interest in the contest. A 60's pair with a more friendly cut would be nice too. I loved it back in 2012 or whenever it was, but now I know more what I like, and that cut leaves much to be desired in terms of comfort and proportions (low rise, tight hip, tight thigh).1 point
