Shell stitching, I think. Only part of this last batch have it. Wish mine did.

Here's a pic of the honeycombs, mid-air (me not in them).

The denim takes on creases quite well, and is still reasonably stiff after a couple of months.

Measurements of mine for the record. I ordered a 34x35.

Pre Soak:

Waist - 34.5

Inseam - 35

Thigh - 11.75

Knee - 8.5

Leg Opening - 8.5

Post First Soak: (1/2 hour, hot water)

Waist - 34

Inseam - 33

Thigh - 11.5

Knee - 8.5

Leg Opening - 8.25

Post Second Soak: (1/2 hour, super hot water)

Waist - 33

Inseam - 32.5

Thigh - 11.5

Knee - 8.5

Leg Opening - 8

Measurements pretty accurate. Fit is spot on.

i re-measured it again BIG style and my thigh measurement is about the same as Freshdave's (mine is also size 34 and thigh is 11.5 after soak). there was no way i could make the measuring tape reach anything more than 12".

Here's the original sizing chart from Roy's website. It lists the 34's with a 12 5/8" thigh.

IMO they are most definitely tight in the thighs. To the point where I want to call them a slim straight. Fear not though, they do stretch back out a bit. I know mine have and I have worn them a total of 3 days. I will get some more measurements up soon...
