In my opinion way too big. Sell and try to source a new one. If it's really the grey/silver selvage they won't shrink that much. I try to find my pre-soak fit

Yeah im disappointed by the amount of stretch that my NO1's have. They shrunk but then they stretch way too much.

 

Wearing sz 34 need to buy sz 32 now. Its a shame as they were hand painted in the osaka store with the special osaka purple colour.

in my experience all raw jeans stretch back at least to the initial raw measurement and most brands even beyond. Other parts are more important than the waist IMO.

No.1 Special Lot.2000 (red/white selvage), fit definitely not as good as b_F, but it does grow on me...

(went up 2 for it) , going into the next rotation after the Ooe competition is done.

No1 2001's. I always love wearing these when I feel like something relaxed.

I think No1 denim is my all-time favourite.

they've been soaked in hot water at least once in the beginning and sometimes later at least once in warm water. I didn't count. My pair has the same selvage line

They are super heave 17.5 oz I think and VERY slubby, had them about 5 years I think, I'll post up some other pics when I take them - really want to get them taken in at the waist as I've lost weight and love them.

 

Also have a pair of Cullottes of my other half who has had them since the 90's - we've never seen any others - they are interesting too.

@ TEKsevenZERO, I've got similar pair, but with silver gulls. Real nice denim, with a pink selvedge. I think I still got the wooden box tucked away somewhere...

I sold my No.0's a while back, I bought them used (hardly touched) but just didnt get into them and i'd say that the 00's are sanforized. These seem pretty slow fading as ive worn them quite hard. Real heavy and perfect for the winter though

Yeh I remember you saying you sold them now. I have a feeling I won't touch mine for a long time if at all to be honest I like them just how they are at the moment.

Whether they are 1 or 2 denim they look great all the same!

Speaking of Evisu Japan, I haven't really kept up with the news but a bunch of the stores in Kansai are closed: in Osaka the massive one next to Tachibana Dori is closed, in Kyoto both the Kiyamachi and the Teramachi ones are closed. In all fairness the amount of stores they had was ridiculous but still, guess they're making some big changes if they're shutting down these iconic stores that have been around for as long as I've been coming here (6 years now).

The fit is fine, you'll see that the profile changes after a bit more wear and clings a bit closer to the body.

My deluxe show a little more wear now and were washed once or twice since the previous photos  but am yet to have them tailored in at the waist a few inches.

The others are my wives, she has some culottes from the 90's which I imagine none of yo have seen before and also some cropped selvage 13oz which she loves (as do I).
