we thought "what about making a two-tone redwing?" so we grabed my 8138 and went for it...

unfortunately i forgot to take some pics before we started it, so here are just the ones during the whole progress till the end of it...

after a few layers of black shoe creme y'all can see where this is going to end...

we're having a cold weather warning in Toronto...

and I was conveniently called to ask if I would like to go to LA for a day...

so.. why the hell not?

been to LA a couple of times but never stayed @ Redondo beach, so for the short 24 hours.. I ate some seafood, walked around the pier, got a sunburn, rented a fishing rod and went fishing @ the pier (got skunked) and bought some nice beer

nonetheless, I enjoyed the weather a lot... all pictures taken with the iPhone

Started snowing again last night again. After fun was had driving in it the downside came. Spent all day shoveling off greenhouses. 7 down today 6 to go tomorrow. It's starting to snow again:)

Extendable shovel helps a lot. You can see the damage to the frame from the weight of the snow in the middle.
