This arrived today. I have ti say Naoki is just one classy guy! He reserved me that pair for 2 months and he did all to avoid customs.

The denim was quite soft from the start. They are soaking right now. I had them hemmed just a little. So on to the fit pics

those are pre-soak but already hemmed a bit. They are dry now and I will measure them and wear them. Don't think I will soak them again yet. I need them dry until tomorrow

There are so many nice Japanese shop owners. So far I have only made positive experience with them. But you are right, Naoki stands a bit out. Go for it!

fantastic fit! the hem is like on mine, but the leg should shrinke more, 1" or so. how do you like the denim and how does it compare to others?

yes, we both have the size 34. But I got my pair hemmed right from the start. 40" is more thant enough

The denim is really nice. Very dark, nice touch to it. Many slubs which will cause great vertical falling. Right amount of hairiness. It reminds me a bit of the Fullcount XX denim from the look.

i will post mine soon. they are still dark despite at least 5 machine washes plus multiple handwashes. must be the 30 dips, i dont know other brands that do it that often. but its not that advertised then.

Yep, Eternal denim is one of the darkest out there. Momotaro is probably one of the few that are even darker. I handled some 811 last week and the hunger for a pair of these has only increased!

I recently compared my raw Momo 0901s with raw FH 1005s and I think in the darkness stakes, the FH may shade it (pun fully intended!).

Also, I think my Eternals (874 - now shorts!) faded more quickly than my FH350. However, the non-faded parts of the Eternals are still very dark after about a year's wear, an inky-black colour.

Eternal and FH 14.5oz denim is very similar.

3 years back or so, I had Atzec's 811 for reference. That was a size 33 and back then I already knew I would opt for a size 34 if I ever buy a pair of these. I have to say, I wasn't that impressed with them or the denim when I had them
