can someone please help... I wear sz 30 in iron heart 301s and wondering what size i should get for 701?

I would suggest a size 30 for the 710s. I own the 301s in a 31 and the 710s in a 30. I'm happy with the fit of the my 301s but I'm sure I could've sized down one more to a 30. Hope this helps.

sounds good.. do you happen to have fit pic of the 710?

Use the "search this thread" button and type in "710 fit" or something along those lines. The 710 is a very popular cut so there are tons of fit pics in here.

Also, googling Samurai s710 fit pics will yield many results as well.

S5000bks at 4.5 months. Love the denim, and you can tell these jeans were crafted with attention to detail and precision.

Not too much comb/stack action yet:

Right arc is slowly deteriorating

Had these tapered just a scosh (to an 8.25" hem)...I may post up fit pics if I get the chance

must spread beautiful_FrEaK but the 3000vx look great.

id love to have a pair but im not too sure the cut suits me, i suppose i could allways size down a few with the vx denim

yes, sizing down is always an option for the VX denim. As the S3000VX has a higher rise it's even easier. I also was a bit afraid they could be too wide throughout the leg but it's ok.

I'm thinking about if I should buy the S710 SDO (size 34) or TTS (size 35).

Zubin's measurements made me think size 34 could work

I SDO on the S710's and feelin fine :D It's actually really loose on the waist, it fits perfectly for me, but if you like a lot of thigh room then go with 35 otherwise 34 :D

S5000GX-M (S5000GX-Mizu 水) Water Model - Volume 2 of 5

purchased 3/21/11 at BIG; tried on 7 different pairs before settling...

Size 36x36:

Pre-soak measurements

Waist: 19†> 38"

Front rise: 12â€

Back rise: 15.5â€

Upper thigh: 13â€

Knee: 10.25â€

Leg opening: 9.5â€

Inseam: 38â€

I was looking for minimal shrinkage in the waist for now, because the initial fit was snug. I soaked while wearing in cold water for 40 minutes, then warmer water for 20 minutes, then luke warm water for 20 minutes, then I walked my dog in them for 20 minutes, then hung dry.

Post-soak measurement:

Waist: 18.5†>37"

Front rise: 11.25â€

Back rise: 15â€

Upper thigh: 12â€

Knee: 9.5â€

Leg opening: 9.5â€

Inseam: 36.5â€

who that guy might be?! ;)

waist shouldn't be the problem, never was. My main concenr are (as always) the thighs.

That's how a 33 fit me (lost a bit of weight after that pic was taken) but that pair never was machine washed.

So 35 would surely be the safest option
