Wonder what shoes you are wearing with that outfit Waltar ? I imagine brown dress shoes.

dont want to be superfuturepolice, but a slim darker jeans like apcNS might look even better

Smart mag is a Japanese magazine in the tradition of Boon, Huge, etc. For any of you into sneakers/Japanese/streetwear clothing these mags will blow your fucking mind.....even if you can't read Japanese. Plus, they usually come with some sort of branded free gift (a NBHD bandanna, Bape keyring, what have you.....)

i typically pick up Idea (graphic design) and Relax (if the features are good), so i'm always looking for new mags. how long has it been around? does anywhere in the US carry this (zakka or kinokuniya in NYC)? can you subscribe? if not, anyone care to trade for some issues?

if its anything like Idea, the newsstand price is usually $45-55 an issue and subscribing hits $250, but the printing techniques and substance make it worth it (think 12 oz prophet's ALSO KNOWN AS and its attention to detail).

Pretty sure it is possible to subscribe off the Kinokuniya website/in-store but it is more expensive than just buying it at retail price. I did see Smart mag in the kinokuniya store near me...I prefer Boon most of these mags though.

the prices are in pound but you can convert

<a href="http://www.japancentre.com/?cmd=itm&cid=56&id=303" target="_blank"><a href="http://www.japancentre.com/?cmd=itm&cid=56&id=303" target="_blank"><a href="http://www.japancentre.com/?cmd=itm&cid=56&id=303" target="_blank">http://www.japancentre.com/?cmd=itm&cid=56&id=303</a></a>] <a href="http://www.japancentre.com/?cmd=itm&cid=56&id=303" target="_blank">http://www.japancentre.com/?cmd=itm&cid=56&id=303</a></a>

This one is called Cool Trans, similar to Smart (for no apparent reason, that's usually the one i buy).

<a href="http://www.japancentre.com/?cmd=itm&cid=56&id=305" target="_blank"><a href="http://www.japancentre.com/?cmd=itm&cid=56&id=305" target="_blank">http://www.japancentre.com/?cmd=itm&cid=56&id=305</a>] <a href="http://www.japancentre.com/?cmd=itm&cid=56&id=305" target="_blank">http://www.japancentre.com/?cmd=itm&cid=56&id=305</a></a>

if you fell like suscribing, get a copy first to see if you feel it's worth it, it's not a cheap magazine to start with and the mark up is pretty steep. but like england said, if you're into streetwear, these mags are like the bible...

found cheaper price

in terms of fashion, whatever you're into, the japanese mags are the shit. the sneaker mags are insane and there's also this mag that i forgot the name that in terms of denim porn is pretty much the best you can get. and there's also a millions high end fashion mags. you don't really need to read japanese to enjoy the mags and anyway, it's really easy to read if you know a bit of japanese (i can read most of it usually).

thanks for the links on smart. is the format traditional or more landscape like in 1995chardx's pic? i'd find it more itneresting if each issue was a pair-up with a label rather than just a cargo or complex approach to streetwear.

how many issues come out a year?
