re: buzz rickson sizing, is it intended to be consistent across repro (i.e. if you're one size on the cpo flannel, you'd go with that size for outerwear)?

i ask because peacoat measurements seem to indicate it runs bigger but that may be due to fabric heft/layering possibilities?

Personally i feel like the peacoat runs a hair big, i'm a 40 in almost everything from BR, FH, RJB, etc.. but i'm a 38 in the peacoat.

Edit: I take it back, i'm a 38 in RJB coats/jackets.

^ Thats strange kiya. I have a few size 40 br jackets including the pea coat ,the ma-1 & two parka's but I am 44 in fh.

That sort of makes sense.. i can wear a 36 in BR's pea coat but it's really snug and even in some of their flight jackets. In the end both us are going down 1 or 2 sizes from our FH size.

I did a write-up on the background of jungle cloth material for those that weren't sure what the fabric was...

Toyo's (Sugar Cane, Buzz Rickson, Mister Freedom) all-cotton Jungle Cloth will always be associated with tough, old salts who bravely took to the turbulent seas in search of adventure. The fabric was a really hard-wearing, tightly woven weatherproof cloth developed for the U. S. Navy in the 1920's for flying clothing and deck clothing.

Buzz Rickson is the only manufacturer in the world to recreate this fabricate so indistinguishably from the original fabric that it will wear, function, distress, and fade from use as well and as interestingly as the original fabric. BR fabrics and goods aren't just eye candy, they're built to actually function like the garments they pay tribute to, and this is what makes Buzz Rickson the brand that draws respect from both competitors and it's customer base. Buzz Rickson would be proud to have you walk up the boarding ramp.

More specs and detailed information on what Jungle Cloth is on Monday along with photos, specs, and more for the Self Edge x Toyo (SEXT11) Jungle Cloth Pant to be released on January 23rd.

kiya, is the ringxring/FH collaboration still in the works?

Does this look like it's still in the works?

This was in Japan seven weeks ago, and no that's not RingRing.

Hey kiya, any new stuff coming from flathead that will be able to compensate my failure to grab a pair of f380's?

No new jean models till the summer.

Apparently... but more importantly

"the SEXFHXRR10 jean. Our most ambitious project yet, absolutely nothing like any jean we’ve ever released...It’s not a traditional five pocket jean. It’s got 6 different levels of single needle stitch counts, it’s left had twill denim, it’s got unusual shaped back pockets, it’s got a swoop front pocket opening, it’s different in every regard."

iiiiinteresting

Maybe. (the Japanese interpretation of the word)

When is the restock of the FH Wabash Workshirt?

March 1st we'll have the new run, it's exactly the same except the bob thread for the middle stitch of the triple stitch is now red. Obviously you can't see this from the outside of the shirt so i have absolutely no clue why they changed it, they explained to me in person at the show like it was a new feature. MAKES SHIRT STRONGER.
