i did 3 initial hot soaks and 3 hand washes since.

hmm, initial soak is the first time we did the soak before wear the jeans correct? so what does 3 initial soaks means?

there is more shrinkage after the first soak. He is making sure there isn't anymore shrinkage by repeating the process.

nothing in my pocket... and it looks like the stitching broke on the inside of my jeans. the only thing i can think that could have done anything is hopping over barrier wall at work.

yep. i soaked them, let them dry, and repeated that process twice. the i wore them.

sucks about the pocket, my 103's have been masochistic dealing with the abuse i heap on 'em.

Hey guys. Can anyone tell me if the sizing of the 103's at BiG is the same as the older lots with the old arcs and tab? I bought an older pair in size 28 but after a soak, they're too big in the thigh and fit perfect in the waist. I feel like I could size down 1 but the measurements on BiG are a lot smaller than what I'm coming up with on the pair I have.

can't say if there is a difference but do you mind posting the post-soak measurements? if they are big enough and you are not happy with them, then i might buy them

Here are measurements for SLAB. I bought these from another member on sufu who had them hemmed. They have about a weeks worth of wear in them total.

Waist- 15"

Thigh- 11.25"

Rise- 9.5"

Knee- 8"

Leg Opening- 7.5"

Inseam- 30"

I have a full zip sweater, got it in a medium(im large). The sleeves are short and the length was too, get tts. I like it unzipped anyways.
