I hadn’t even considered that there might be a bit of pizza missing.

Could also help fill a void in the hearts of those who had hoped for pizza arcs.

I’m for this alternative version.

Same, haha. This version does not fill the void I feel of lacking pizza arcs.

It's funny but also given I want to wear them nearly every day sometimes in professional situations and I have a cinch and don't wear belts all the time, I sort of need the patch to be not that.

Justing chatting with bF and Simone on the patch... given the first design was received with more enthusiasm and there are ahem reservations with the second, the proposal is to stick with the original first patch... which was very tasty indeed...

A few nice looking pairs of jeans on Simone's feed today... no pun intended 🍕

Depends on the implementation - I’d imagine there are many different visuals people would have in their mind. It could be quite subtle. They definitely could be terrible also, but then some people like battle stripes or evisu gull arcs. But it was already decided negative so you won’t have to worry about it!

I like it, but I’m not wearing it for 18 months in nearly all situations. I freelance - I’m my own HR and my own representative. It doesn’t comply with some situations, unfortunately.

So where are we, roughly maybe two months out?
What's everyone's go-to pizza toppings?
I'm a classic guy, generally prefer margarita or supreme.
Keep your weird stuff (pineapple, buffalo or barbecue chicken, etc.) off my pizza.

I fully embrace a good amount of weird stuff. But I'm with you on the buffalo chicken. Whatever that flavor is, it's never worked for me in any context actually.

I love a good roasted brussel sprout pie. Or meyer lemon. A local joint has a one with with green olives, roasted yellow tomatoes, goat cheese + zaatar that is a go to for me. Rarely with the sausage or pepperoni, though I enjoy it. The one thing I'm not so into is mushrooms, (my wife swears she can bring me around through exposure therapy...she's moved the needle about 15%). With the shrooms, I'll at least take one for the team if the team prefers it.

Every now and then I don't mind the weirder pies, there's a local place that does a banh mi pizza that's really good.
I agree with you on the mushrooms, not a big fan of those either. Too mushy.

I like a basic margherita but tuna, red onion, capers, anchovies and jalapeños are all good, not necessarily all together but generally in some permutation. Olives I can take or leave. Chicken should never be in the same room as a pizza.

Interestingly, I’ve often wondered why some Americans call a pizza a ‘pie’ as it really isn’t one and I don’t think it’s referred to as that anywhere else. I googled it and came across this article.

Interesting article - thanks for sharing! I do quite often call pizza "pie" but it feels like slang to me. In no way have I ever believed it to be an actual sort of pie, which it seems a few people did! What do we do here in America if not make new terms that are nonsensical! Although I've got to say the Kiwis and Aussies do a bang up job of that too.

You're all making me hungry

I don't often eat pizza but like it when I do... preferences include goats cheese, blue cheese, anchovies, olives, seafood generally, capers, chilli peppers... my Lebanese friends said they grew up being told zataar boosts your intelligence so we've eaten that a bit together... nice nopal on the figs, walnuts and honey... that's enough I need to eat pizza... did somebody say just eat?

I like any and all pizza. NY, Detroit, Neapolitan, Chicago deep dish (which is why I thought they called them pies tbh) et al. Margherita, marinara, pepperoni, cheese, supreme, hawaiian, BBQ chicken, potato, white sauce...I cannot say I have ever had a bad pizza, no matter what was on it.

I have recently been to a few Japanese pizza places that ranked in the top 20 of the world, and they were incredible. "Weirder" topping-style pizza compared to what chains sell, of course.

Love making za too!
