Can anyone with an old GTX stealth confirm that the inner face fabric has a brown cast to it/gets discolored? Even the flaps that cover the stealth array have it, which seems impossible to get from wear.

had this stealth trench (wish I kept it) never had that problem except a tiny bit of discolouration around the inside of the collar

sounds like an odd problem, maybe the bonding adhesive used to bond all the layers is showing through the face fabric? anyone better versed on gore-tex would like to chime in I'd be interested to know too.

@scamster ooh that’s a nice one.

The adhesive makes sense. Checking old grailed listings and seeing brownness on quite a few of them. Pic for reference if anyone else can weigh in.

I just my moire stealth and I don't seem to have the discolouration. Granted, I haven't actually worn it out much (this is one piece that I baby :))

@WiseFool Cool, thanks. Got to be a reaction to something then. Selling mine because the fit is off so I've never worn it and trying to be accurate with the discoloration because I can't imagine sweat going through gtx to discolor that outer flap.

Some items were pure genius. I own al lot of pieces but I hope to get my hands on a couple iconic ones that are still in my dreams.

Just a little update on my end since I seem to be one of the few still purchasing SP pieces.

I want to give a particular mention of the Bi-Stretch R-Nylon pieces that came out this past FW season. It's essentially Schoeller Dryskin, except it feels...better? The handfeel is nearly identical (7% EL/93% PA vs. Schoeller's 9% EL/91% PA), yet it's slightly thicker and sturdier due to being less elastic.

Anyways, I ended up buying 2 pairs of the same wide-legged pant on sale (~$300/pair) and I wear them 5-6 days/week. Insane pair of trousers.
