Wow those look incredible @Flash! 

Two years isn't bad at all. Mine have held up very well construction-wise so far after 2 and a half years. The fabric has been the weak spot with mine.

Your waiting on the 42's aren't you ? 

Really liked the look of those but was a bit confused what the difference was to the 41's ?

Yeah I'm waiting on the Dawn Knight 42's. I actually don't know too much about his 41s. The reason I went with these was because he had an actual pair to go off of with these (maybe he had one for the 41s as well, but I'm not sure.)

Yeah Jukebox vintage supplied the vintage pair for the 41's 

The only difference I know of for the 42's is the flasher stating "Original riveted" as opposed to "copper riveted" , so it must have been early 42 when the change was made to copper coated rivets

Yeah I believe he said that this was a very short period of only a couple months or so. I think he even stated roughly what time of the year it was, but I'll have to go back and check again.

Do you know where he got the 42s?

Ah too bad. I also wish the translations made more sense in the videos. Maybe I'll ask him again when I finally get them

My jacket is coming up to a year and only washed it twice at the start before wearing. Not decided on whether to give it a birthday wash yet. The look of your jeans makes it more tempting though.

The only CSF jeans I really wanted recently were the D-42’s, once I got shot down on ordering those I haven’t really been following as closely. Just expected to get told no.

I just got an answer on the eta for my jeans. He said autumn for mine so I'll be waiting almost a year for my D42 total.

tbh, i'm only looking for a pair, not too fussed about the details. quite like the M-46 or 47 i see from the website..

Like promised, updated fit pictures of my Conner's. Both are size 38. The '47 have more wears and washes, the WW2 one initial wash and a handful of wears I think.

The 47 are still okay and I might get the waist to shrink a bit more but the WW2 just feel huge all over

I've got a stash of Lysol wipes to help sweeten the deal. 
Here's some photos of my 2nd half 46's in their current state. Honestly I don't wear these much anymore as I find the fit strange. The waist is big but the hips are tight, making the front pockets nearly unusable. I put a good year of wear into these I think. They could use a few repairs, just small things here and there. They're still sound constructionally.
If these had a little more room in the hips they'd probably be my favorite fitting pair of jeans.

I think those would look fantastic after a few years of wear - the drape would be very old timey

I'd love a pair of CSF jeans but those hip measurements don't lie.
