Crosspost from the WAYT thread, here's how the newer version fits.
Pleased with them, might need an inch or so off the bottom but I was told they might shrink a little.

this thing is a beast, incredibly warm and not as heavy as I thought it was gonna be.  The waxed jungle cloth is unreal, so dense and wind proof.  Cant wait to see how it softens up with wear.  The massive Waldes zips r very tasty.  I was wondering if anyone knew where the UES line was produced?  The tag says manufactured by freewheelers, designed in Japan. Which makes me feel like it’s not made in Japan.

@MJF9 on paper the shrinkage doesn’t seem much but in practice, it really makes a difference. Both look great.

Thanks gents

^ agree… the cumulative shrinkage across all dimensions on the jacket makes a difference e.g. arms plus shoulder is 7cm

Thx duke, I figured that was the case but felt the wording on the tag seemed a little odd.

Probably just what FW thought sounded cool TBH - their labels and tags look great, but quite a few don’t really make sense and have spelling mistakes

there labels are sweet, definitely can’t take them at face value, for example,  i know Great Lakes Manufacturing isn’t made in Utica, N.Y.! Haha.  That would b very cool though, I live an hour or so from there.

Thanks.  This is definitely a keeper mate.  Denim is great, lining lovely, buttons are ace (consistently very impressed with the quality of FW buttons)... it's my most spacious denim jacket by some but liking that extra room a lot... nice change from my others

What exactly are the differences between the two s601xx models? Pocket bags and number of buttons aside, is the fit the same? Same denim?

Never mind, I've answered my own question. Fit seems slightly different according to the measurements on Mcfly's site.

my flannel pocket pair is slightly looser than the olive pocket s601. olive pair has been washed more though. they both have the same number of buttons but the flannel ones are a lot harder to fit through the button hole.

also love hooiser

Just received these olive deck trousers that I bought in Grailed.  They r BNWT and I think they are from 2017? @Duke plz correct me on this.  FW jungle cloth is incredible.  The fit is definitely a little different then I’m use to, very roomy top block and thighs and a pretty strong taper below the knee to the hem, but the more I wear them it grows on me.

@Cozzie - the tag tells you the year buddy … but I think those are 2018 (tag number #1832006 - first 2 digits are the year)

I’m not worthy… :blush2:.  I did not know that. Once again, I really appreciate your knowledge.
