Just got this in the mail Wednesday. The leather is incredible, the color is absolutely stunning especially when u see it in the sunlight. The eco HH has to be one of the stiffest leathers I’ve handled new. Although a couples days on the bike and it’s starting to take shape. Here’s a couple pics, I’ll try to get some better ones soon.

Sweet pick up @Broark, I nabbed a couple tees from mirror ball a couple weeks back. Got the NYS ‘39 one in the white and nys ‘32 in the blue. The print on the blue one is great. It’s that fuzzy kinda finish. They are just awesome fitting tees. If I hadn’t grabbed a buzz rickson ma-1 off of eBay a couple months ago I would have gotten the field cruiser that’s such a nice jacket. tried to capture the print texture but I don’t think it shows very well. I’d post pics of the other one but it’s in the wash currently.

Duke, good god man, have you compiled a searchable catalog of fw? Now I have seen 2, haha. Def a rare bird, generally “alpaca” linings I’ve come across have been some kind of blend. Is the shell alpaca too or just the pile? Do you know the name of this piece? Thanks duke!
-
This jacket is just stunning! Anyone tempted? Cant say I’ve seen many jackets, or any at all for that matter, with a 100% alpaca lining like this.

I’m not worthy… . I did not know that. Once again, I really appreciate your knowledge. 2018 it is.

Just received these olive deck trousers that I bought in Grailed. They r BNWT and I think they are from 2017? @Duke plz correct me on this. FW jungle cloth is incredible. The fit is definitely a little different then I’m use to, very roomy top block and thighs and a pretty strong taper below the knee to the hem, but the more I wear them it grows on me. I’ll try to get some fit pics up soon.

there labels are sweet, definitely can’t take them at face value, for example, i know Great Lakes Manufacturing isn’t made in Utica, N.Y.! Haha. That would b very cool though, I live an hour or so from there.

@MJF9, fantastic!
-
Thx duke, I figured that was the case but felt the wording on the tag seemed a little odd.

Had a package from Desolation Row show up a couple days ago. this thing is a beast, incredibly warm and not as heavy as I thought it was gonna be. The waxed jungle cloth is unreal, so dense and wind proof. Cant wait to see how it softens up with wear. The massive Waldes zips r very tasty. I was wondering if anyone knew where the UES line was produced? The tag says manufactured by freewheelers, designed in Japan. Which makes me feel like it’s not made in Japan.

@Maynard Friedman, awesome! Thx so much for sharing that so quickly! Only place I can find the y’2 leather’s down vest in brown black.
-
Wondering if anyone has ordered from real deal? And might have their email or know how to do an overseas order?
-
@Flash, you don’t f#*k around, haha
-
@Flash those look incredible. If u order a new pair now they should b in just in time for those to be ready for retirement.

“Lost now on the country mile with his Cadillac.” Geez I’m all sorts of lost haha, thx @Duke. I kno the bootleggers branding is not still around I didn’t realize they r treated as separate companies. Really appreciate the knowledge. That’s y I hang around here. That’s a sweeeeet label with “cowboy Neil” there.
-
Aahh, I see now. thx for straightening me out duke. When did the company name switch from bootleggers to freewheelers?
-
@Duke. Hipster reunion is a different sub label then bootleggers? For some reason I was thinking it was branding under the bootleggers sub label. My bad…
-
@Broarksome damn fine shirting u have there! Great fit on both, they must be using your measurements for the pattern. Thanks for putting up the photo of the hammer smith Im even more excited for mine to show now.
-
@Broark, is that the hammer smith shirt I see there? How u digging it? I ordered one a week ago from mirror ball so hopefully it should show up here soon.
