The background on your chat is fitting for talking with Seiichiro!

Haha. I never knew why it was like that. I remember thinking wtf's this but just cracked on, oblivious. Just looked now and can see there are themes to choose - well I never knew. Honest. But agreed... ironically very fitting :)

Isn't it funny, how one becomes very interested in items such as this much much later. I've had that many times :D

Very true. I only started digging after looking at the recent release of the 44/45 Jacket.
and this is a rabbit-hole type of a pursuit.

Anyone have pics of worn in Neil Cassady or chambray shirt from FW?

I have a pretty worn-in non-chambray Neil shirt, and a non-worn-in chambray Neil shirt, and a few non-Neil chambray shirts in in various stages of wear…any preference?

Here the thing then…

Looking closely at the measurements for the S506xx 44-45,  I could fit a 42 or 44 depending on my preference for it being fitted or roomy.
So what’s the thinking on this. Worth sizing up, or tts?

I like having options for my denim jackets (I wear 38s and 40s) but the roomier ones tend to be more versatile, if not always as tidy of a fit. I don’t have any true duplicates though, just different styles in different sizes. Tradeoffs.

Depends what you're wearing under it mate. If it's the same cut as previous batches, these feel more denim jacket than denim blouse and are a toucher longer, relatively speaking

Most of them turned to rags and ended up either in the bin or given away.. the only pairs i saved are a pair of CSF-46s, Junky 46s and FW-47s. I only saved those because they're a bit special but pointless really.. they're too delicate to wear for any longer than a day or two.

I've been wearing Carhartt carpenters for work these last few years.. £35 from the vintage shop, it's much cheaper than burning through £200 pairs of denimz every 6mths, albeit much less interesting :D

Thanks for the input everyone.

I have the Deck Worker Parka in a size 40 and was told by Seiichiro that fits around a size bigger than the denim jackets. It fits fine with a sweater.
Think I’m going for the 42.
My only reference for the denim jackets is the TCB 50’s in a 42 and that’s quite fitted. The s506xx look a bit more generous in that tag size so it should be good. Getting a Non-wash so I can baby it if needs be when soaking.
Appreciate all your comments.
