i got a 'garden state' movie feeling from the first one

What do you mean by garden state feel? are you talking about the yellow train?

yeah there is a scene in that movie that is very similar to the setting in your picture

it looks like they could of been standing on the train in your photo

I never completely understood why so many photographers decide to shoot the very mundane (myeslf included). Besides the play on composition, inclusion of particular textures, lines, light, and shadow, such photos become quickly redundant.

I quite like these two by the way.

ive been shooting a lot of "mundane" stuff lately.. i think the main reason for me is because there is a lack of interesting subjects around and im trying to make boring subjects more interesting (by playing with the composition/textures/etc)

dubgiant90: awesome, AB are good for the money. for that shot i used a 2 WLX1600's, 1 semi overhead with a beauty dish and 1 to the far right bare.

just caught this while i did a shoot i just wrapped up right now.
