a little early to ask, but just curious beats, who will be the ones judging these at the end of the 2 years? just wanted to see if you could throw a few names around if possible.

When buying online you usually only have to pay state sales tax if the store is based in the same state you live in. I am pretty sure you can forget about the sales tax but keep in mind the shipping costs.

A quick question on pricing,

"There is no longer New York City sales tax on the

purchase of clothing and footwear regardless of

the amount. The current total sales tax is 4.375%

down from 8.375%, for all clothing and footwear.

Sales tax only applies to New York residents and

any purchases made in store."

Does that mean there is no tax?

Just want to make sure because I need to get one of those visa gift card things.

It means that if you are an NY resident (or buying in-store), you pay 4.375% state sales tax when you buy from BiG.

If you are located outside of NY, you don't pay any sales tax at all.

What are you guys getting them hemmed to? I'm definitely going to get several inches cut off but don't want to cut off too much.

I don't like to cuff, and I think the legs on this cut are wide enough when you go TTS so that they won't stack great, so I'll probably get mine hemmed to my normal inseam.

What's your normal inseam and what are you hemming to? (Taking account the shrinkage?)

im sure you can tell gordon you would like a post wash inseam of (blank). by the time the jeans are sent out he should have an idea of the shrinkage of these so i can figure out how much to hem to give you the post shrink inseam you desire. at least thats how it was for the warehouse contest

that's sum really drastic shrinkage for the inseam.. I usually wear 31~32 inseam, I got them to hem mine to a 34.5 inseam in its RAW state.. hopefully it will shrink to around 31.5 ~ 32 inch inseam.. if it's too long, I'll fly myself down to NY to get them hemmed again

Just want confirm a few details before i put money down.

1. Are the belt loop ridged?

2. Is it 100% cotton stitching Thread?

3. is the leather different from the regular leather in terms of material? (lamb/pig/deer/cow)

4. What kind of material are the buttons? (iron, nickle, alloy etc..) i.e. will they rust and age beautifully, or stay the same...?
