Color palette looks great. I'm interested to see what the other pair of pants look like and whether or not they're going to do a full zip soft shell again. It looks like the light grey jacket on the far left track might be just that.

I expect something lighter than Graph for spring/summer season.

These look more like merino t-shirts, I have one from the very first collection, it's great, well made, far better than any Icebreaker I've seen. 

 

Those in the pics look lighter, too.

 

No surprise about the "far better," Veilance has been using the top-of-line merino from MAPP (and that one season, a silk-merino blend) for wool items. World of difference. (I even have two Smartwool shirts which are seemingly the same, except one is run-of-the-mill merino and collects hair like crazy, the other is Zque merino and always looks pristine...)

Anyone have any experience with the Galvanic IS? A slightly used one popped up on the bay and I bid on it. Just wondering if I made a good decision or not.

Galvanic's kinda dope. Lack of insulation from the waist down and a two-way front zip are things to take into consideration, though.

Anyone know if the european veilance shop will mark down prices on FW13 anytime soon? Can we expect some typeof sale? Or are they just gonna put up the new stuff when SS14 arrives?

They never do any sales on their website. I wonder if they could exchange the stuff bought somewhere else.

I think the only thing they will do is to offer their repair service, or exchange of damaged items in term of their warranty.

Yes, under warranty, there may be repairs or (if repair is not possible) exchanges. It doesn't matter where the items were bought.

 

No, there are never any sales/rebates on the Veilance website/store, only from other dealers.

Actually if I recall, I remember the main website having the items discounted about 3-4 seasons ago. I remember seeing the stealth pants at a cheaper price but not in my size. And I remember the sale went for just a weekend. But again, 3-4 seasons ago...

lack of two-way zip is a bigger issue than the insultation below the waist, imo - i live in toronto wear my galvanic as my primary winter coat and have never wished it was insulated all the way down.

Ack! That aluminum actuator is too sick. Kinda wish I didn't JUST buy the coal version. (Part of me thinks I don't have the skin-tone for aluminum, though.)

Looking at picking up the Align SFT, does anyone know how this fits? I heard it runs smaller than other veilance pieces. I am a Medium in the Insulated Field Jacket and a Medium in the Parsec. According to Arc the M Parsec fits the same as the L Align, so maybe I should size up?

the align SFT fits a little big ,maily sleeve lenght

ah, well, we're typically a good 5-7 degrees warmer than y'all. i imagine i'd want the patrol coat if i was in mtl. the galvanic is ideal for toronto because its cold weather comes more from the wind chill than the actual temperature.

i have a few items in small from fw11/ss12/fw12 and they fit perfectly and just grab some stuff from ss13 and fw13 and they fit smaller ; just wonder if my veilance size is now medium ;-)
