Man, those Sams just keep getting better azn8oi.

I'm usually a 29, but I purchased a size 28 Lot 10 S710XX last night and I'm sort of regretting it. They are really tight in the waist raw and I'm usually a 29. Please tell me the waist will be alright after soaking and stretching?

you shouldve gone with a 27 these stretch out so bad.. i shouldve sized down 4! take note i even wear a belt!

I think you could have went down one more. Like Ed said, these stretch out like crazy. Mine went from a 26 and now a 29, could go to maybe even a 30-31 without my belt. As long as you can get all the buttons on pre-soak/wash, then you are fine.

I have no idea. I didn't really keep track of the thigh measurements.

Glad to hear that the jeans will stretch out, though it makes me cringe thinking about every soak and the shrinkage in the waist every time.

Some of the Take 5 staff said the thighs probably won't shrink much, if at all. Is this accurate from your experience, Knugget?

looks like they'll be a great fit after the soak. i'd keep them! you can always drape the waistband out of the tub/soaking mechanism if you'd rather it didn't shrink.

That and they stretch like mad. So you should be fine. With my 5000vxs I couldn't even get the top two buttons up post soak. Now I can do it with ease and the waist isn't even tight.

yeah idk why everyone says the 710's stretch so much. because mine have maybe stretched 1" to 1 1/2" in the waist. which isn't a whole lot considering my NS stretched 3 inches.

I had the exact same problem. waist was wayyy too small because of lot 10. what I did was just wear them while you hot soak them in the bathtub. make sure you open a window, I almost passed out and drowned, lol. should prevent the waist from shrinking too much. then just wear 'em hard for a week and you'll be much more comfortable

What's special about the Jin model besides the back pockets arcs?

Couldn't you just do a quick cold soak so there will be little to no shrinkage at all?

AHHHH...This is why you didn't keep track of your thigh measurements. I have bigger cycling thighs. That doesn't bode well for the skinnier cut.

i wear a size 25 in apc new standards and size 27 in 19cm diors. will a size 28 s5000bk be too big for me? this is looking to be my next purchase why i ask. BiG only has 28 for the smallest size in stock for s5000bk.

I can only comment on my experience, which was that I got a Lot10 pair, size 38, and after a hot wash, they shrank to a 35 waist.

My 0500xx's, true to size -_-''. New. Hot soaked twice (once boiling), one hot wash. Sorry for crappy quality pics, my camera on my phone is a bit off.
