When i took the legs in, i took in the inseam. In doing this, i had to forfeit some of the rise. which turned out to be a good thing :)

They are Hex DC, so I guess they are technically female jeans.

I got them for way too cheap on eBay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=9302457146) without knowing the style but at least they were able to fit.

Actually I was wondering if aside from the slight fabric difference, does anyone know if Hex and Max are the same thing? I was thinking that Hex might just be the female sizing of the latter; similar to under a 29 or whatever waist for APCs being considered female jeans.

thanks for the comments guys...

to whoever asked, i have been wearing these for roughly a month.....26 times actually

and the trip to BC was over my spring break, we went for three days two nights with two other nights in seattle....we stayed on granville and mostly only went to pubs and clubs, it was crazy, spent a ton of money on alchy but it was well worth it. I would def love to go up again and skae the city and just check it out on a more real level....oh well....great city, great people

Chris, my grandfather wears the exact same pair. and he thinks they're ugly.

Care to show a close-up pick?

--- Original message by DJ_Flame on Apr 3, 2006 05:23 PM

maybe his are. fortunately, mine arent.

and you're wrong. they're not boots. they're just flat, black leather slip ons with a slightly pointed toe. i wanted a pair of swear deans, but had to settle for these instead. and since you're interested, ill show you a slightly less fuzzy picture from last month:

What jeans are they? Are they the Black Bullet Hobokens or your customised Cheap Mondays?

Thinking of getting the Black Bullets but wanna make sure they are more of a soft grey than an 80s stonewash grey... icon_smile_wink.gif

Chris I agree. IMO those boots remind me of old mens' shoes. don't take it personally, it's just my view.

--- Original message by DJ_Flame on Apr 3, 2006 03:58 PM

haha. they dont look anything like old men's shoes. well, in person, that is.

--- Original message by chris on Apr 3, 2006 04:38 PM

I like your shoes, I think. pic is pretty bad though.

they're much better than swear's

some good looks on this 100th page. i think we need some contributions from the veterans to mark the occasion.

--- Original message by mrmax on Apr 4, 2006 02:00 AM

ahh, i don't know if i'm a "veteran" but i used to post on this pretty often, might as well to mark the occasion. No pics though:

Black cashmere cardigan, unbuttoned - Issey Miyake

Black 'number' monogram t-shirt w/ destroyed red collar/cuffs - Number (N)ine

Dark blue raw denim jeans - Dior Homme

Trashed white sneakers w/ black midsole - NBHD X Bape

before y'all get on my case about me not rockin high fashion shit any more (see my posts in superdenim about a week ago), these clothes are still in my closet so i might as well wear them. I just ain't gonna go around tryin to buy new shit every season any more.

Nah man, keep doing what you do best. You have your look, and I don't think you should change it completely just because of what you talked about in your previous post. Like I think you said before, it's more of a mindset of what you're wearing than the actual clothes.

Anyway, to not sidetrack the topic, here's what I'm wearing today:

White 20 ANS Duffer Hoodie (Skeletal jawbones w/ a gold tooth)

Black Wings and Horns t-shirt.

4 month-old nudie bootcut olas.

Germany military sneakers.

No pics because I'm stuck in the library.

the funny thing about what did you wear today are the poses

why feel the need to pose? alright, i have no problem with showing off your clothing, but posing for the pictures as well? doesnt that detract from the point of the photo? to show your clothing and not your body?

what is the point of some of these photos? they are as useful as writing what you wrote

actually I took these pics not for my clothing but for the photo shot

but i realized I was wearing some things maybe people were interested here and since I already had these pics I thought I'd post these rather than take new shots.

no intention of showing off my body or anything

i might have another shot somewhere but wearing different jeans
