As someone who has been forced to watch many games, it's a bunch of woman getting angry at each other and sweating a whole bunch.

Pretty much Basketball without the dribbling( can take a step onto your pivot foot but can't place the foot down again), and 7 players separated into 4 zones, most positions can enter 3 zones. It's "no-contact" but its pretty rough with contested balls. It's actually really fun to play a really good workout. Ideal social league game.

Also one of the best looking sports, tall athletic women.

Once a week, when I finish BJJ, there is women's netball going on at the sports centre. Funnily this seems to be the day that many people decide to hang around and wait to walk with someone to the train station etc..
