Another day, another triple feature.

First up, Hitchcock. Today it was Lifeboat, 1944. Definitely not my favorite Hitchcock, but a really good study on what you can do when you limit space:

Then on to another British filmmaker, Michael Powell and his film (with Pressburger) Black Narcissus, 1947. I love The Archers, and have been trying to see all their films as well. Thank god for the Criterion Collection:

Across the pond now to Tati's Mon Oncle, 1958. Good to have a little comedy in your day, no? Another Criterion release:

Yeah I didn't much like it either.. I felt like it strayed from the plot unnecessarily too many times and the dominant lesbian (Nic?) just got on my nerves the whole movie.
