if i could i would turn those into shorts

would be sick. with the cuff graphic cuffed at the knee. imo

That's actually a pretty damn good idea, and i've always thought the classic jeans from SC would make a good shorts fit.

Flat Head Spring Shirt Collection

Five new shirts from Flat Head just arrived...

Two new mini-herringbone shirts, a Black Mint Kasuri shirt, a hickory stripe workshirt, and a short sleeve Green Diamond shirt.

With Flat Head's newest fabric, their take on a classic herringbone woven pattern comes as their newest offering this year. The fabric is soft and has a great character contained within the herringbone pattern, a simple classic shirt with a great fit; available in light black and mustard.

The fabric on the Hickory Stripe Workshirt is a custom run that Flat Head originally had made for their Googies sub-brand. The pique cotton fabric is unique in that it's woven in such a way where there is a great deal of character for a hickory stripe pattern. This is a new style from Flat Head, the body of the shirt is a new fit and the pockets and the outside "Flat Head Union Made" tag is also new.

With the Green Diamond one of the most popular short sleeve shirts we've ever had at the store is now available in a new color for spring.

Flat Head's Black Mint division has a new shirt for spring, the Black Mint Kasuri shirt in white/black. You've got to see this shirt in person to fully understand what's going on with the weave and pattern design.

All these shirts are only made once for the year, once sold out there are no restocks as usual.

Check the online store for hi-res photos, specs, and more information on all five of these shirts:

are the western herringbones a slim fit?

Yes, they're slim fit, if you want a fuller fit just size up one.

awesome im glad to hear they are slim fit. very excited about this run of shirts. Would the minimal shrinkage be comparable to whats usually expected of the flathead chambrey style shirts?

Yes, exactly...

Awesome, I was hoping that they would reuse this fabric for a more traditional workwear shirt. Got to decide whether I want this or the Iron Heart one...

Kiya if I was a size 42 in the herringbone would you recommend going the same size? Is the body on this not as slim? Also I wear a size L in the MFSC CPO and I fully shrunk it etc, would I be a M or L in the Vest?

You'd be a 42 in all Flat Head or RJB shirts.. and a Large in the MF vest.

Are you getting that diamond shirt in any other colors besides green?

We're not, but we still have some sizes left in the blue version from last season.

Sonny's mother clipped something out of a local San Mateo County paper, i think the SM County Times, to give to me.. i think it was printed a few days ago.

Whoever wrote this, reply to this post and i'll get you a $75 gift certificate to the store. I'm guessing it was for a high school class?

Just saw these. Holy shit.

I'm going to have to start man-whoring again. These very seriously kick the living shit out of the blue ones.

Kiya, next time you see those Flat Head guys, high five them and let 'em know it's from me. I don't care how confused they are, I just need to know that somewhere, somehow, they got a high-five from their Unkle.

Kiya - would there be any shrinkage on the FH diamond s/s shirts?

Not really, just a tad bit.

If you wash them in cold water and line dry them they won't really shrink at all.
