Once they start putting out new models we'll definitely be carrying the line.  Currently there are no new items available, just a few jeans which are the same jeans they've been making for over ten years.  New jeans and flannels will be available starting January or so.

Introducing Dandy's Eyewear

Dandy’s is an eyewear line made by a small factory in Segusino, Italy which only produces four brands of eyewear in their production studio.  Many of shapes and styles are inspired by Enzo Ferrari who built his legacy just a couple of hours away.  The studio has been producing eyewear for 45 years using only original Italian acetates and in-house designed stainless steel hinges.  They believe modern production methods have become too precise and polished so some of the frames are literally unfinished, giving the frames a very natural human quality.  Some are partially unfinished, some are completely unfinished with the machine markings from the cutting of the in-house acetate.  It’s quite wild, and extremely unique.  Most of the frames are larger than all the eyewear brands we currently carry; great if you’ve been wanting a larger or bolder frame.

We met with the people behind the line earlier this year in Bologna, Italy and have chosen with them seven frames from their 2020 collection which they’ve just finished for us.  We hope you get to see these in person so you can appreciate the subtle curves and finishes.

Dandy’s is available now at all 5 Self Edge stores and online.

@kiya, really interested in the new black Cane’s

Do they use the same fabric as the lot 470?

Are your stores open, these days, for trying things on? The cut looks like it should probably work, but with the low rise & slim thighs I’d ideally want to test them out to be sure (Totally understandable if not)

Yes, all stores are now open regular hours which are posted here: https://www.selfedge.com/index.php?route=information/locations

Definitely go in to try on the new Sugar Cane jeans, I think you'll dig the fit and details.

Are they the same fabric as the lot 470? If not, have any examples of how the fabric ages?

Sugar Cane for Self Edge Jeans - One Fit, Two Denim Styles

Sugar Cane for Self Edge jeans are here! These jeans come in a new straight tapered fit developed by us and perfected by the pattern makers of Sugar Cane. They're available in either a 13oz black warp and black weft denim or a 14oz Okinawa sugar cane fiber blend indigo denim, both unsanforized (but lightly rinsed) for maximum texture and character. Both jeans come with black anodized wreath buttons, hidden rivets, super fancy variable weave density pocket bags, and a very pleasing straight tapered fit with a medium rise. Check the product pages for a full rundown of specs and a wordy explanation of what's going on with the pocket bags.

You can get these now at all stores and online.

Kiya do you have any idea if the Sugar Cane Catalogue will be out soon? Those jeans or the standard Hawaii jeans are on my short list for new jeans, but I would like to see Sugar Cane’s 2020 catalogue before making a purchase. I kind of suspect the Edo-Ai jeans are this years special jeans like the mixed denim last year.

The Sugar Cane catalog came out 2 months ago actually and they only do one a year, so there won't be another one.

Do you expect the Okinawa BSP jeans to shrink any more in length? Was the pattern cut so the the inseam would be 35-36” after being washed?

^ I’m not Kiya, but I have a bunch of SC jeans tagged L34 and they all end up measuring around 32 1/2” after repeated washes (would probably be more like 33” or 33 1/2” if I didn’t use the dryer)

They'll shrink about half an inch or so in length over time with cold washes and line dries, they were made a little longer than normal SC jeans for us to begin with, you can see the inseam measurement for each size on the size charts for each mode.

Those tagged 34 length jeans you have probably started off closer to 33" or 33.5" when they were new.

@kiya why does SE never seem to stock the cane 1966s? do the 1947s fit similarly in the top block?

We used to stock both for 7 years, but we found the 1947 would outsell the 1966 10 to 1 so we stopped stocking the 1966 model.

The Fine Creek Horsehide Roberts Jacket

One of the most anticipated releases of the year has landed. The new Roberts model from Fine Creek is produced of a tea-core dyed 1.3mm custom Himeji horsehide and comes with a cotton/wool blend liner, great for all-climate wear.  Due to the slightly thinner leather compared to some of their other horsehide jackets this model has a shorter break-in period and is more comfortable even when new.  Check the product page for a full rundown of the specs on this jacket.

These are available now at all stores and online.  As with all Fine Creek releases there will not be a restock of this jacket.

Introducing Kei Shigenaga - Wildly Impressive Jewelry from Japan

We're proud to introduce Kei Shigenaga's line of jewelry at our stores.  This is a line of fine jewelry designed, produced, and finished by Kei Shigenaga himself.  He's a one man show in Tokyo doing strong jewelry styles with unbelievable finishing.  Kei uses kintsugi, the Japanese art of repair, as one of his inspirations behind his designs as he uses 18k yellow gold to "repair" areas of the jewelry which look to have eroded while applying a super high polish finish to the rest of the piece.  Everything is made from beginning to end in his own Tokyo foundry and for the first time has been created in US ring sizes for Self Edge.  As with a lot of what we stock you really need to see this line in person to truly appreciate the design and finishes.

Please check the product pages on our site for detailed photographs and specs lists on each piece.

Worn probably 10-12 times, barely any fades. For those who've been around these forums for a long time, they remember how awesome these jeans were when they first came out.
Retail was $375 USD. Looking for $185 USD OBO.
Best way to contact me is [email protected]
      Waist: 31.5"
      Inseam: 31.5"
      Thigh: 11"
      Hem: 7.5"

One of the most popular jeans we've carried since we opened was the first collaboration we did with Dry Bones and Superfuture two years ago. We've decided to expand on the theme of a forum based jean with a bigger project including Styleforum and a 22oz denim that Dry Bones have woven for this jean.

The SEXDBXSXS12 jean has been produced by Dry Bones, one of Japan's longest running vintage Americana style denim manufacturers. The jean is made up of a rope-dyed 22oz unsanforized selvedge denim consisting of a combination of Texas & San Joaquin Valley cotton fibers creating a rigid denim that's slightly hairy, but not slubby, because we requested that the denim not be singed and calendered. The indigo dyed yarn has a sulfur top to create a super dark indigo color that crocks fairly easily with normal wear. The jean has heavy-weight hickory striped pocket bags, military grade green rear pocket linings, coin pocket selvedge, cotton poly-core stitch, hidden rivets, and two leather patches. The Superfuture patch was designed by JimmyC of Superfuture and the Styleforum patch was designed by Brian SD, you can easily remove one of the two patches leaving the one you like better. The fit is a slim fit with with a bit of taper and a medium rise, graded to look great in all sizes.

Superfuture, a website dedicated to the finer points of shopping, traveling, garments, and more was launched in 1999 by Wayne Berkowitz. Hailing from Australia, the website took on a life of it's own within a few years, and five years in was already home to one of the largest databases of information about garments, and to be more specific, denim.
Superfuture offers the world a frequently updated set of traveling maps, a listing with reviews of over 1000 shops around the world which are "Superfuture Approved", a blog updated with cutting edge events around the world, and a forum called Supertalk which at times overshadows the other services Superfuture offers.

Styleforum was founded in 2002 in reaction to the poorly run, corporation-owned, men's style discussion forums of the day. Founder Jeremy Jackson and his partner Fok-Yan Leung, who started posting on the forum as a way to procrastinate from writing his doctoral thesis, see Styleforum as a dive bar populated by guys who also happen to really like clothes, often to the point of obsession. A few discussion rooms have been added to the forum since 2002, discussing anything from travel to food, but these are still guys who want to be wearing the best clothes no matter what they are doing.

This jean is limited to 250 pairs between our three stores, once sold out there will be no restocks.

IRON HEART 633s size 32 - imgur link photos taken by a window with natural light.

I've been wearing these for close to 2.5 months now. The waist has gotten a bit too big on me and I find that they fade too slowly. They're still more comfortable at 21oz. than most raw denim I've ever worn, though.

Whiskers are starting to break through, wallet fade is fairly clearly defined on the back left pocket, and while the comb wrinkles are fairly defined, there's almost no evo on the combs, knees, or thighs. These have so much life left in them that your wear will surely overshadow mine in the long run.

At 36" these are ready to be hemmed to your desires. I have not washed them since purchasing them.

      Measurements (the [iron Heart](http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=2835.0) way):
      Waist: 17.5" across
      Front Rise: 10.5"
      Rear Rise: 15.5"
      Thigh: 12.5"
Knee (13" down from crotch seam): 8.75"
      Leg Opening/Hem: 7.6"
      Inseam: 36"
