In regards to the SEXDBXSXS12, how much shrinkage can I expect? My pair just came in and the pre soak fits almost ideally. Could definitely use a little shrinkage, but not a ton. I sized up hoping to avoid an over slim fit, and just want to make sure these things won't shrivel up like my pair of FH 1001. Thanks in advance

Soak in cold water for 10 minutes then allow them to fully air dry before wearing.

These don't shrink nearly as much as FH jeans do.

I would go for a size 34 in both.

We decided last month to take the time and money spent on that and put it into figuring out a way to expand SESF.

If all goes to plan we'll be closing down the shop for a week or two in the spring and knocking down some walls to increase our space.

Yup, we're still doing this. Not sure when yet, it's really up to the engineers and landlord. Trying to be closed for the shortest amount of time possible.

From both Mister Freedom and Sunny Sports we've received part of their new spring/summer collections.

Are the Roy black and blue's considered duck? They're a selvage canvas no? Is there a difference between those and duck canvas?

Duck is just another name for canvas. Most people consider duck to be the brown canvas Carhartt uses in its double-knee work pants. Technically, however, there is no difference. The ongoing e-debate on various Internet forums revolves around the weight of the fabric -- that duck is clothing-weight canvas and, well, canvas is heavier in weight for tents and tarps. If you've followed PaulT's work on this, though, he has some really good sources stating that the duck label was historically just a branding/marketing device for canvas from a particular mill (Paul, correct me if I am wrong).

I think, I read about two explanations on the etymology of the term duck:

1. Is that the dutch used the word 'doek' (which I think means cloth) for the fabric that was used to make clothing for hunters, workmen, seamen, etc..

2. Apparently some mills used animal logos such as dogs and ducks. Not so sure about this one, though.

Yup, same price. But call the store you're going into to see if your size is there, sale items in our online store have the stock from all three of our stores combined.
