Thanks, @srudy! This fabric wears and fades so much differently than the S40s. It softened a ton after my first wash and the overall shade faded to about where my S40s jacket is after five washes. I'm hoping that the warm, soft, red caste indigo powder blue of my favorite vintage Levi's is in our future.

Had a great visit from Emanuel from The Goody Vault today. Kyle (r) has been talking with Emanuel about a trunk show at the shop. Today's visit was social and sweet. Beautiful weather. Beautiful people.

I’m at 3 months of casual wear, so far, so good! Maybe washed 5x at this point and dried a couple times. Starting to get a couple of pinholes on the fly and back of leg, not sure where they came from. The fit is getting better with washes and wear too.

Some flats from my phone for October. In need of a wash. After another wash or two, they'll need to go in for some repair work on the crotch as well.

 

After two full years in contest jeans, I'm pretty over it. Haha. We'll see if I can keep it up through March.
