Thought I’d add another natural indigo dyed bandanna from R by 45rpm, a bit lighter than the 1st

i'm still tossing up whether i should frame this shunga or just hang it with bulldog clips:

RciV5ee.jpg

i have a stupid amount of totes, so i knot this other kapital one to the handle of whichever bag i'm currently using (hence the insane creasing + distorted shape):

JRpczW2.jpg

the only other bandana i own is a brown paisley by beams which i use on a patagonia blackout while traveling. no pic because it's currently at my parents' house.

Warehouse - one of the 2 indigo-dyed from this year’s collection. Interestingly, not exactly square. Also, fairly hefty at 35g.

Just got those two from Portland, Oregon. They're made by a store called Kiriko, which is clearly inspired by Jpz design elements. I like the color change from the usual blue / red... They're 26g and 28g.

what do you use all your bandanas for? Just curious

I use them as face masks, gangster-style, when I go out and I find I need to have a number in rotation to be able to always have clean ones. I'm also experimenting wearing them just for fun, but not quite sure I can pull it off like https://www.instagram.com/banditphotographer/ . Missing the beard and the 425lbs deadlift max...

They're endearing collectible tidbits, I have to say.

I have a few more coming...

I've actually been thinking about doing the same, but I just can't find my old ones from my snowboarding days.

So, this little outfit in Japan is doing lovely work:

I don't know much more than what's on their IG. I wanted to place an order, but with the current situation of the int'l shipping, I'm hesitating. Here are a few examples of their work:

I love that Smiley Mt Fuji @lophophora i would probably have to frame it... which brings me around to, what do you guys use your bandanas for? they all look pristine, like they're folded up in a drawer, mine tend to look like this..

IMG_9329

.. creased to f**k and covered in stains from where ive wiped my hands on them, indigo dye from when they've been stuffed in a pocket..

IMG_9329

...is it just something else to consume/collect or do you have a use for them?

Edit- Just noticed that @Thanks_M8 has already asked the same question.. Woops!

I just started using mines, so they're still basically new.

I stick in the back pocket of my jeans during the summer to use for wiping away sweat.
Or lately I've been using them as a mask.

All freebies and unused but may start using them as masks. I’ve always fancied tying them around my neck cowboy-style  but would feel a bit self-conscious about it. I suppose if you don’t usually do it, then people notice and draw attention to it and you feel a bit silly! Just have to brass(or bandana)-neck it out I suppose...

Made a paved patio last summer when it was really blazing hot. Dipped the bandana in cold water and wore it cowboy style which worked a treat keeping my temp down. Otherwise I nearly never wear mine.
Anyways, here are some of my faves:

This one is made by The North Face’s Purple Label, which is apparently a MiJ sub-brand. I knew nothing about it but I found the design & color lovely so I looked around to find it, in Japan eventually. It was delivered today by DHL, which has been consistently good for me.

The purple label is the collaboration line between North Face & Jp label Nanamica, the line is only sold in Japan.

Lovely graphics.

2nd is one of my favorite (depicting the 12 Chinese zodiac), even though the edge curls up quite abit from wear & wash...
