Hello, yes, you’re right, and besides, Denime seems to be heading in the same direction as WH, with many different variations. I imagine that WH has brought the “historical” dimension to the new Denime.

Nice wee interview but I am confused as they talk about the XX denim and recreating it from the 1930s banner. I've got the Lot.220A offset XX but is that the basic model or is it the XX that they are discussing?

The 220A is the basic model.

The 1947 and 1954 are using the XX denim (the 1930s Banner Denim created by Kurabo).

It is indeed all very confusing but that's just how Warehouse works ;)

Jackets seem to be the same, no?
Lot 232 (possibly also the 3rd type 233) is the thicker standard/basic denim (like 220A).

And the others (47 and 54) are the brown weft Kurabo banner denim.

66B (Orizzonti-era), size 33, deadstock w/ tags. The pocket tag doesn't say Orizzonti on it like my Kyoto's, but the retail tags had it. I gave it a hot soak/hot wash/air dry. The pre-wash waist measured 87cm and shrunk to 81cm. I can see what you mean @beautiful_FrEaK- the 224 denim is definitely aiming to replicate this fabric. The fit is nice, as if I just sized up 1 or 2 on my 224, which is no surprise. I'll try to get a fit pic at some point.

How do these fit compared to your Kyotos? I've really enjoyed my pair so far. Even though it's not my usual fit preference, the pattern on them is really well done and I really like that denim, although I think that this 66B pair has different denim?

Possibly @yung_flynn! Given that these are the same size as my Kyotos, both 33, they fit a bit looser and have a longer inseam and higher rise. They may shrink more just from washing and could definitely shrink more in the dryer if I ever wanted to, which I suspect my Kyotos have been through from the previous owner.

After wearing in my 233 jacket, the denim is starting to feel exactly like my 220A. I think 220A, 221, and the jackets are all the same denim (except for the 54 jacket).

Good.

Probably the type 1 Lot 231XX-47 (1947 MODEL) is also a different denim, i.e. the Kurabo brownish weft Banner denim.
