@beautiful_FrEaK those Shins era 66 pairs have a listed length of 96.5 cm in the rigid state. From your experience, is that likely the inseam or do you think that the seller measured the outseam? Do those pairs use XX denim?

The 66 pairs use a different, lighter denim. The jeans look unaltered and a 38" outseam would be rather short. So yeah I think that's the inseam.

Thanks! Is it the same denim found on the Kyoto and Tokyo pairs?

AFAIK, the Kyotos have a different denim than the Tokyos. The Tokyos might have the same denim as the 66 though

Well, as the Tokyo and Kyoto (I love the fact these cities are anagrams of each other) pairs have different denim, the Kyoto is a lighter shade, the answer is no. It may possibly be the same denim as that used for the Tokyo pairs but I’d assume not (although this is just a gut feeling and I may well be wrong) as I think both the Tokyo and Kyoto models used specifically designed denim and they were only available in the Denime shop of that city.

Kyoto was originally the capital, and then it was Tokyo.

Kyoto - "Capital City"

Tokyo - "Capital in the East"

Thanks! That is helpful and makes sense. The Kyoto denim is indeed a rather light blue. I was surprised when it arrived last year, but I like it a lot.
