@indigoeagle I was wondering about this because it is specified on the DSB 47, 53, and 54. I also read that there is a dyeing process for denim called “loop-dyed.” I was wondering about the difference between this and rope-dyed and how it applies to DSB denim.

Hello, does anyone know if the Dead Stock Blue fabric from Warehouse (model 47) is rope dyed? I’ve read that the rope dyeing process results in a better fade. Does anyone have information about this? And an example of a fade on a DSB 47?

Small detail observed in Clutchman's video, with the comparison of the 1946 SG model (on the left) and the 1946 501 (on the right): the stitching of the belt loop is sewn into the pocket bag on the 501, whereas in SG's reproduction, it is not sewn into the pocket bag. 🧐

I bought the 1946 model (a bit late, lol). I was lucky to find a pair in my size at Göteborg Manufaktur. Thanks @Beau_FrEaK for the advice. The fit is perfect for me. The fabric is really beautiful, and the level of detail is impressive. I can't wait to wear it, but I'll have to get the length altered.

@youngofthesoonest Thank you very much for the clarification 👍

Hello, Could someone tell me the difference between the SG 1947 (regular) and the SG 1946 supercollectibles? Are the cuts identical? I’ve seen that the 1946 was made from a finer fabric (13.5 oz) and the 1947 from a thicker fabric (14.25 oz). I haven’t been able to find the information, but do you know what the thickness of the Cone Mills fabric used by Levi’s at that time was?

Thank you for your answers. Not easy, I have the impression that I could take a W31 for the 0105 while I wear W33 in WH. The fabric is quite "elastic".

Hello, I would like advice on a fullcount 0105 13.7 OZ One Wash. I wear W33 in Resolute, Warehouse, and W32 in Denime (by WH). What size do you recommend for the FC 0105? With several washes, does the fabric shrink? Thank you in advance for your help.

I think it's great, it's real archival work. I wonder why the 501 XX is missing.

@indigoeagle I found this site which is interesting for historical information: https://denimarchieves.com/e/index.html

@indigoeagle Thanks for the advice, I will indeed take size W33.

Hello, I need some advice on model 1947 (standard) from Sugar Cane. I have never worn SG jeans, I have doubts about the size, what size do you advise me to take? I wear W33 in Resolute, W33 in Warehouse and W32 in Denime (by WH). Does the fabric stretch a lot? Another question, I saw that the jeans were sold One Wash at certain retailers, but the fabric seems almost raw, do you know if it reduces further with washing in the washing machine? Thank you in advance for your help.

Freewheelers, Bootleggers Reunion, Bubo, etc.

Thank you so much. Did you notice any additional shrinkage between the new one wash jeans and the first time you washed them?
