162 also quite wide and straight legged with quite large rises - really comfortable - and also based on Levis, their interpretation of a late 30s model

Great pick ups! Hoping that java and coverall are available in bigger sizes when I visit in September.

Those will be long gone by then I would expect. Aside from the regular stocked stuff, almost everything sells out pretty quick TBH. 

I only have the 147j, sport jacket and a few chore coats. The denim jacket is on the smaller end of the sizing range. Definitely don’t size down. I would suggest waiting to try on if you are going soon. 162 is longer cut, I can’t remember if it is boxier though.

Received the 163 today. I love it, but just find the arm to be restricting. The arm hole is a lot smaller / higher than most. 

i put a picture comparing it to Freewheelers’ 601xx 1942. It's about 1.25 - 1.5 inches smaller

But where is a good place to find At Last items? Been wanting to get some proper trousers from them but they are never in my size on Yahoo JP.

 

Any suggestions besides going to Japan or VMC in person?

My experience with this was, I emailed them asking whether there was a catalogue or currently in-stock list and was told you literally look on instagram and list the things you want based on what people have posted there. Definitely not what I was used to but thought fair enough.

I've been talking to the good people of timeworn and they sent over the following measurements:

Lot 147 size 36 after one wash 

Waist laid flat: ~18
Thigh: ~ 14.3
Front rise: ~14
Knee: ~ 10.8
Hem: ~ 10.3
Inseam ~34.5
Hip 23.5

 

Lot 161 size 36 after one wash 

 

Waist laid flat: ~18

Thigh: ~ 14.5

Front rise: ~14.5

Knee: ~ 10.7

Hem: ~ 10.4

Inseam ~34.5

Hip 21.5

 

Currently waiting on the 162's. The measurements above do seem a little different to what's been shared in relation to the cuts throughout the thread though they may have changed their cuts slightly? Anyone had a pair recently?

It's been offer as a separate take on the WWII model for at least a few years now, I wouldn't  necessary consider them "new".
