Happy New Year all! Took the chance to go to the top of Alishan, a well-known mountain here in Taiwan, to see the first sunrise of 2016.

i haven't posted photographs of what i have been through in a while. it will be too heavy a post string to started from where i left off so i'll just post december stuff. Nothing much really. things were more interesting in the few months i haven't posted anything, with me hosting 2 photo exhibition at local art venues here in Bangkok and went on a few work-related field trips (power plants inspections again) in Thailand.

but here's december. photo from various places in Thailand (i really haven't left the country in a long while).

That loom fault on the right leg is very cool. So are the combs, so is the color the thighs are getting to. These are looking great so far DhaDha!

edit: and holy smokes those pictures! Beautiful.. makes me miss Thailand very much. What's going on in the first one? My instinct is to say it is a burn site, like the Karen use, for waste plant material.. but not sure?

Thanks chicote!

the first pic was a charcoal making site in a small village north of thailand. i don't know what exactly was going on but presumably they were clearing some space for charcoal kiln (they were making them from bamboo).

January 2016

I finally made time to get some photos. These jeans fade so much slower than any other raw denim that I've owned, but I will say that it's made me appreciate more subtle fades opposed to super high contrast stuff.

I dropped my Old Blue's off a while ago to Russel of Circle-A-Brand to do some minor repairs.  I am excited to have them back this week, I will wash them and then post some pictures.

Not much has changed since my last update but I washed them (4th wash) so got bored and snapped a couple pics. And I was wrong last time, they're just about 6 months now, I started a bit later than I originally thought. They also shrunk a tiny bit in length again, and now I pretty much can't wear them cuffed  :( . Oh well.

Blue Nemo should post his Denimes. Saw them yesterday and they are among my favorite faded jeans ever. Washed out, looking very vintage 60s/70s. Not sure wether they get much Attention as the contest often favor strong contrast, but they are super nice.

I want to see these!

I've run into an issue. For the past two weeks I've been back lifting and trying to get back my to my deadlift PR from 4 years ago. Well...two weeks of deads (not even squatting because f that) i can't fit into my flat heads, well i can but the hips and ass are so tight now that when i step the whiskers feel like they are going to tear into my hips...it also has this weird look where the hips are so tight now and it pulls the denim over my ass and makes me look like i have a square butt....

Hopefully they will stretch out a bit and i can get a tad leaner or I'll be forced make a decision on what to do in the coming weeks for training.
