Oh yeah! Wearing the jeans out! Too impatient for fit pictures but I will try to get some soon! :)

Warning: Long wordy inconsequential post ahead. Initially I asked for a w32x36. All the measurements for a w32 looked good to me, but fearing the waist would be too small, Ryo and Hiro suggested taking the waist one size up, while keeping the rest of the measurements.

But due to a miscommunication, my pair turned out to be a w34x36 with a w35 waist, which was what Ryo and Hiro suggested. When i hot the jeans, i was slightly worried about the fit. But, I guess this is what is called serendipity, as the jeans are really comfortable now! No fighting to get into the jeans, and I can move around quite freely, and the fit isn't all that bad!

All in all, what I want to say is, give your measurements to Ryo and Hiro, and trust their judgement! Thanks Ooe Yofukuten and Flash for this contest!

Now, let's bring it on! ;) a word of warning to all contestants: I am going to do some crazy schiz in these jeans, such as walking, sitting, lying down, standing, more sitting and the occasional crossing of my legs.

You have been warned.

I've just measured the leg, post soak; it's shrunk by 2.5" was 33" is now 30.5". I'm a 29" leg normally, I'm betting these still have half an inch of shrinkage left in the next wash, so should be good for a small cuff of some subtle stacking? Will post some fit pics when dry tomorrow,

What do you guys think? :) It's a looser fit, but I am liking it so far. Gonna start double cuffing to get a cleaner lower leg silhouette.

Alright time for my official entry update. Pre soak pics can be seen a few pages back. Like I said, I forgot to take a newspaper pic b4 throwing in the washing machine, but i blasted them on the hottest/roughest setting, and think i got most shrinkage out of the way.

measurements in inches:

waist: 34 > 31 (pulled it back to 32)

front: 13.25 > 11.5

back: 15 > 14

thigh: 12.5 > 12

knee: 9.25 > 8.75

inseam: 31.5 > 29

LO: 8.4 > 7.8

forgive the lighting and camera (iphone)

Washed late last night. Threw 'em in the grimy machines in my apartment complex, I want the shrinkage accounted for right off the bat.

With some stretching and settling, the fit will be exactly what I hoped for. Post-wash measurements (tagged 35x38)...

Waist: 32 (but has stretched to almost 34" with less than an hour of wear)

Front: 11.5

Back: 14.5

Thigh: 12

Inseam: 34.5

Hem: 8.5

Definitely a TON of shrinking with this denim.

I'm also suffering an overcast day due to the hurricane remnants, so better stuff to come soon. I did a warm wash with a cold rinse and air dry overnight. The waist shrunk about 2.75 inches and the length about 3" with some impressive leg twist. Like the pics before me, there's amazing roping starting to show and the denim really came alive after the wash. The fit is perfect - slimmer than I am used to wearing recently but the higher rise is perfect for it.

Flash and Ignaurus, those are some clean looking fits. I like everybody's so far but those two are the fit type I envy. Damn skinny guys!

I didn't machine wash but I did tumble dry fully after a soak. Resoaked to help w/wrinkles and they are still damp. These jeans are going to work out just fine with a little waist stretching. I'm amazed at the sheer amount of shrinkage and leg twist with the 91. I was getting really worried watching them do the shrinky-dink thing in the tub.

Pics later, they'll be dry soon.
