^ I have skull 5010 sz 32. My 011's in size 31 fit very similarly. The biggest difference is the 011 is more tapered from the knee down. I'm sure sz 34 would be fine or sz 33 if you want a slimmer fit.

Anyway, I took my PBJs to get the crotch repaired today because I noticed a big hole in the front of the crotch that appeared pretty suddenly. The back has been fraying like normal for a while but the front wasn't fuckin' around. It went straight to ripping. Has anyone had big problems with their crotch blowing out this quick? I had them for about a month and a half and wear them everyday with pretty much everyday including me skateboarding in them. Sorry for the kinda blurry pic. Taken in a moving car.

Depends on whether you bought them raw or one-washed. If they are raw, expect about 2 1/2" of shrink in length when you wash them. If you bought them one-washed, you probably won't get any significant shrink at all in length.

I don't have any direct experience with the 009s, but from my general experience with PBJs, they run about 2 sizes big raw and shrink 1"-2" in the waist when washed and air dried. I've had my best results with them sizing down one or two sizes from normal, depending on how tight you want them to fit.

True, after a few good hot soaks there really isn't too much more shrinkage that a dryer will get out of them.

I usually hand wash for the first couple of months to a year...

Then I get lazy / really want to clean them out so I do a machine wash. Usually shrink difference is minimal, it just takes longer for them to stretch back out.

I think a hot machine wash and then a hot tumble dry would probably get the most shrinkage out of the way possible in one shot. AFAIK, that is what is done with PBJ's one-wash jeans.

as hot of a soak as u can get... and tumble dry high... might have to repeat once more for full shrinkage....

In lower sizes it's what the 511 wishes it was.

In higher sizes it seems a little closer to the 514.
